The show rehearsal started at seven o' clock this morning.

I'm not really a morning person.

I stood in my spot on stage and listened to the host run over his lines. All of the judges were up here to find out how we were supposed to stand.

I looked out at the empty seats and tried not to focus on Luke's face that was only a few inches away from mine.

"Then we're going to have a performance," The producer's voice boomed through the speakers.

I continued to listen to him talk when I felt something bump my hip, causing me to stumble.

I looked up to see Luke snickering to himself.

"Stop," I hissed, getting back to my spot.

I was only there for a few seconds before he bumped me again. His whole face remained calm while I pushed against his arm.

"Go away," I laughed.

"I don't think you're supposed to be talking right now Maddie Collings," he smirked, shoving me again.

"I'm actually going to kill you," I hissed.

"Kids! Please!" The man yelled at us.

"Sorry," I squeaked, looking at Luke like a guilty kid in school.

We behaved for a few minutes.

And then I got bumped again.

I was going to kill Luke Hemmings.

We were set free after another hour of boring torture. The whole crowd split up and headed out into the hallways. I followed on Luke's heels and yelled at him the whole way to his dressing room.

"It was funny," He sighed, turning around to look down at me.

Short people problems.

"You got me in trouble," I frowned.

"It'll be fine," He smiled.

"It'll be fine," I mocked his voice.

"That doesn't even sound like me," He said, rolling his eyes.

"Shush," I sighed, pushing past him to get inside the room.

"Boys," Luke announced. "There's a female in our dressing room, put some clothes on!"

I said hello to Michael and sank down onto the couch beside him.

"What's new?" He asked, shoving some food into his mouth.

"I have a show later," I huffed.

"Really?" Luke asked from his spot on the counter.

I nodded.

"Where?"

"The performance hall down the street," I said.

I didn't remember the name.

"Can we come?" He asked.

"Uh what?" I stuttered.

"Can the boys and I come watch?" He repeated.

"Why?" I cringed.

"It'll be fun, you can have some Aussie support,"

"Yeah," Michael said cautiously.
