The halls of the studio were very quiet. I could hear my shoes clicking against the ground as I looked around for the right room number. I stopped outside of number four and opened up the door slowly. I peeked inside to see Calum and Michael's eyes drift towards me.

"Come in," Michael said, waving me inside.

"Hi," I whispered, shutting the door behind me.

I could see Luke singing on the other side of the glass, headphones propped up on his ears.

I sat in between them and pat both of their legs like a mum.

"How goes recording?" I asked Michael.

Calum was staring down at his phone as per usual.

"Good," He hummed quietly. "Luke's doing really well."

"Oh yeah?" I chirped.

"Seems to be in a good mood lately," He said. "Wonder why."

I looked him in the eyes, watching a very smug grin spread over his face.

"No clue," I shrugged.

"Maddie," Calum hissed, tapping my shoulder.

"Yes love?" I asked, turning to face him.

"Luke's calling you," He said.

I looked forwards to see the weird blonde one pressed up against the glass. I couldn't help but laugh, walking towards the booth door. I pushed it open and stared at him with wide eyes.

"Hi," He said, breaking out into a huge grin.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Are you gonna stay long?"

"Dunno," I shrugged. "I just popped in to say hi."

"I'm gonna be done soon, wanna have lunch?" He asked, shoving his hands into his pockets.

I could feel the other boys watching us and I knew I was going to be blushing soon.

"Sure," I smiled.

The boys shoved food down their throats so fast it was hard to even tell who was eating what at our table. I took a few bites of my pizza and watched them devour everything that was available to them. The poor cafeteria ladies didn't even know what was coming for them.

"Do you have rehearsal tonight?" Luke asked me quietly.

"No," I hummed, taking a sip of my coffee.

Calum looked up at us and blinked a few times.

"Yes Calum?" Luke mocked.

"Why don't you ask me anymore," Calum frowned.

"Do you have rehearsal tonight?" Luke asked him.

"No," Calum said smugly.

"Wanna come over? Mum misses you," Luke said, turning back to me with his puppy dog eyes.

"Only Liz huh?" I teased.

"She's not the only one," He drawled.

"Oh no?"

"Are you coming or not?" He asked, clearly done with my teasing.

"Sure," I sighed. "I guess I can fit it in."
