Everyone was excited to see this film maria didnt know why since it was a borderline basic coming of age story with cringey acting and a terrible storyline. However she stayed since the others were there and it was free food and drink. The blue haired girl was sat inbetween eli and miguel but she had noticed miguel had been awfully quite.

"miggy whats wrong ever since you went to see sam yesterday you have been quite is everything okay?" maria asked concerned

"there was another boy there" miguel scoffed

"what!!" maria gasped capturing aisha and eli's attention.

"i knew her dad wasnt sensei's biggest fan and me been cobra kai shouldnt mean im a bad person" miguel rants to all four of them.

"you are not a bad person miggy and if she doesn't like you for your true self screw her" maria states confidently before taking popcorn out of eli's hand giving him a small smirk.

"sam isnt a bad person either just give her a chance and she'll come round she always does" aisha then says.

They continued to watch the movie even though miguel felt no better, aisha was on instagram the most of it and even eli was more invested in annoying the people infront of them. It was in that moment she realised ever since joining cobra kai they had been rejecting demetri. The lot of them were hanging out at the park tommorow so maria pulled her phone out.

Maria had noticed that eli was watching her type into her phone but he didnt say anything. It confused her why the lot of them haven't interacted with demetri since he said cobra kai wasn't for him but she wasn't like all of them.
