chapter eight | season three

Even though the twins had not spoke since the argument at school they both decided to go to the dojo what happened to be a public park. Everyone seemed to be acting as if the argument hadn't occurred. Maria went home to get into some exercise clothes. The twins stood beside one another in complete silence while Johnny went on about the importance. However they finally heard the new name.

'welcome to eagle fang karate" Johnny said with confidence handing around shirts.

"sensei eagles don't have fangs" bert tried to say before having a shirt slung at his head.

It was that moment that the twins had noticed some cobra kai students including hawk. Johnny seemed to believe they were here to join his karate. Until Kyler and Tory came round, maria heard miguel gulp seeing his ex. Then Kreese.

"I told you cobra kai for life" Hawk smirked making Maria look to the floor.

"What do you want?!" Johnny asked kreese angrily.

"I'm not here to fight" kreese replied.

"so why are you here then?" Johnny repeated now face to face with the older man.

This caused both Miguel and Hawk to walk forward making Maria and Tory try and stop them from fighting.

"I came to offer you a place back at cobra kai where you belong" kreese said cockily.

"no i will not teach my students to put their lifes down the toilet or teach them to be assholes" Johnny smirked.

"your loss" kreese shrugged before turning to leave.

Hawk and Tory looked at the twins with a sympathetic smile. Miguel was not moved by the gesture but Maria knew they were both hurt.

Maria went to run up to Tory.

"Tory"

"Maria what's wrong finally saw sense to come back to cobra kai" Tory asked

"I can't betray my brother like that but just because were in different dojos doesn't mean I hate you in fact I completely understand your anger" Maria replied.

"that's actually means alot maria" Tory responded with a weak smile.

"I just wanted to say thank you for also stepping forward to stop miguel and hawk" Maria said noticing hawk standing not to far away.

"I get it your in love with hawk like I am miguel but atleast hawk had mutual feelings" Tory sighed.

"miguel is stupid if you ask me, you was the better girlfriend" Maria laughed.

"also not a sam larusso fan" Tory laughed.

"yeah I'm not a fan of cheats" Maria shrugged.

"atleast I still have one diaz on the team" tory smiled.

"I better let you go back to your karate as I should" Maria said bowing to Tory as a joke.

"see you around maria" tory greeted goodbye.

"bye tory" Maria replied before going back to a glaring miguel.

"they're your enemy's not mine" maria said before focusing on karate.
