maria wanted nothing more than some comfort about what had happened yesterday everyone had problems miguel was working with johnny on his legs, hawk had broke demetri's arm and there was no sign of quit in this pathetic karate war.  since she was under stress maria made plans with moon as these days moon was the only person who seemed to calm the girl down but since maria didnt feel like leaving the house moon was coming over.

"heyyy" moon cheerily greeted standing in marias doorway

"hi" maria greeted back weakly

"jeez whats happened now usually when you sound like that i suspect hawks name following" moon says laying beside her best friend.

"well you predicted correct" maria huffed in defeat.

"whats he done?" moon asked leaning on her elbows.

"well last night miyagi-do and cobra kai clashed again but moon i was terrified and i wasnt even injured demetri was" maria explained thinking of all the events that occured.

"what did they do to demetri?" moon asked clearly not knowing a thing

"hawk broke it as if it was a kitkat" maria replied playing with her fingers.

"shit hows demetri?" moon asked concern laced in her words.

"i called an ambulance then he tried to make me turn on hawk" maria continued.

"atleast you called for help but how did hawk react?" moon continued asking

"he left with the cobras but when i looked at him i knew he hated what he did" maria stated looking up at her best friend whos face was full of shock

"im guessing he was peer pressured" moon shrugged.

"yeah and i dont know how to help him" maria huffed.

"maria you really need to speak to him" moon states giving her best friend a stern look

"ill call him after karate" maria stated agreeing with moon

"i wish i could stay longer but i have a date with piper" moon said hugging maria goodbye.

every single time those two girls hung out it made maria realise how much she relied on moon for guidance. since hawk wasnt gonna finish karate for another hour maria watched the new episode of falcon and the winter soldier because bucky barnes was always her no.1 man.

Maria wasnt mad at hawk but was she scared of what he was becoming absolutely. The girl wished and hoped that he would consider them instead of cobras. As the episode finished there was a knock at the door. Hawk wasnt even bruised from the fight but his knuckles were red raw.

"jesus christ hawk what did you do" maria gasped grabbing his hand examining his knuckles.

"its nothing really" hawk grumbled following her into the kitchen where she handed him some frozen peas.

"who did you fight then?" maria asked giving a eyebrow

"kreese wanted more recruits so kyler and his oompa lumpers turned up" hawk admitted still angry about it.

"please tell me your not going to get involved with kyler" maria said concerned.

"i might have too since kreese recruited him but i sorted the minion" hawk stated checking his knuckles.

"so you kicked his ass" maria said surprising hawk with the sudden change of attitude.

"ofcourse" hawk smirked.

Even if maria wasnt intrested in getting involved with karate again hearing hawk talk about it still made her happy because it showed how passionate he is.

"maria you could always come back to cobra kai"

"no" maria replied automatically.

"why?" hawk asked surprised she replied so instantly

"hawk last night is the perfect example" maria stated with a stern look

"you was fighting with us" hawk countered.

"i didnt fight for the cobras" maria said.

"then who" hawk asked frustrated.

"you" maria exclaimed rolling her eyes.

"jesus hawk do you really think i was gonna let that bitch try and touch you"

"protective are we" hawk smirked.

"hawk im been serious" maria said trying to hide her smiling at the smirk

"but seriously you was amazing last night" hawk admitted.

"yet i was terrified" maria confessed.

hawk lost his smile knowing what she was on about. Maria lifted his head up with her hand staring him dead in the eyes.

"i was terrified but it doesnt mean i feel any less for you"

"you should do though" hawk said holding marias hand in place.

"hawk i saw your face, i saw the regret and the fear in your eyes" maria stated leaning her forehead on his.

"maria you know that i love you but im not gonna stop" hawk sadly admitted.

"i love you too which is why im always gonna wait for you to make the right choice" maria promised before lightly kissing him.

"do you mean it" hawk asked.

"every word. eli moskowitz" maria replied with a smirk

"maria diaz i truly was enchanted to meet you" hawk said before kissing her with more passion this time.

Even though the conversation didnt go the way maria wanted atleast she knew that hawk wanted to do right. She believed he only needed guidence and if he was to get that he needed his own reliable person. It was that moment where maria knew she needed to ask hawk to make thing official.

"hawk.."

"maria..."

"do you think we should make things offical?" maria asked drawing circles on his shoulders.

"maria diaz will you do the honours of been my girlfriend until i can ask another question" hawk smirked pulling a strand of hair out of marias face.

"i would love to" maria answered before returning to the makeout session.

Little did the new couple know miguel had just entered the house from hanging out with johnny.

"hawk please do not impregnate my sister" miguel joked.

hawk seemed really excited to see his best friend. Maria knew he wasnt gonna mention the incident with demetri but it would get out soon. Maria only admired the pair from inside the kitchen thinking how much they meant to her which only made her feel bad about lying to them about meeting robbie. However she also feared how miguel would react to returning to school which was only a few more days and that was gonna be exciting.
