maria seeing hawk made her feel so much better than she thought it would of. hawk ended up staying the night cuddling the girl so she could actually sleep and maria felt like for the first time in a very long time she could have some hope left within her. yes she was still struggling it wasnt going to leave over night but when she woke up to see hawk laid right beside her with his loose red hair covering his eyes she actually smiled. she gently moved a strand of red hair so he would be able to see when he woke up, she took in every single feature the boy had and to marias amazement the scar on his lip was still as beautiful as it was the day they met.

"your staring at me sleeping thats abit wierd princess" hawk grumbled with that deep morning voice that maria forgot was VERY attractive.

"sorry" maria giggled nudging further into his neck to hide her blushing cheeks from been caught.

hawk had to laugh at the girls antics lifting her face up with one finger.

"how many times have you woke up beside me and not realised ive admired you" hawk smirked stroking her cheekbone.

maria smiled at hawk before moving in to kiss him which he gladly returned. the two actually felt happy for a change.

"im going to go to the hospital but maybe after that we could hang out again?" maria asked drawing circles on his chest which now had a grim reaper tattoo.

"i would love too" hawk replied kissing the girls nose.

IGUEL WAS FINALLY AWAKE. Carmen had to speak to some doctors about miguels condition but maria had never felt so relieved to actually give her brother a hug. Miguel laughed at his sisters eagerness to crush him.

"i thought you was gonna die" maria said sadly sitting beside him.

"i heard you talk to me every day" miguel replied grabbing his twins hand squeezing it gently.

"you scared me miggy" maria said one tear flowing down her pale face.

"im sorry about everything since we got here" miguel said sadly but with a guily conscience.

maria and miguel wasnt bad kids but ever since getting to this town there was no denying they had changed. miguel was a karate championship and had two girls in love with him that caused him to be in a coma all within one year. maria decided to fall in love with the nerd turned badboy. the diaz twins were no longer a nerdy duo but now two badasses.

"miguel are you gonna go back to karate" maria asked sternly looking into her brothers eyes.

"im the champ wanda i gotta defend" miguel giggled smirking at his response.

maria couldnt even be mad at his response because even after a two week coma he was still good old miguel. Carmen and the nana was currently stood at the office area yet again worrying about money for miguels surgery. Even though carmen had told johnny to stay away from her twins he still cared for them as if they were his. Maria went to get some drinks for her and miguel when she saw johnny offer the payment for miguel.

"sensei lawrence" maria said surprised to see him.

"maria oh my how are you? hows migeul?" johnny asked frantically not realising he was probably scaring people around as he was beaten like a blueberry now acting like a clown.

"im okay and miguel is finally up and well" maria answered with a soft welcoming smile something johnny hadnt seen in a long time.

"im really glad you two are okay" johnny said with a weak smile.
