Maria hadnt been in the karate mood for a couple of days even though it was near championships however Johnny let her off thinking it was her period. Today she decided to go hang out with demetri without moon the two had planned to binge gotham together.

"maria..." demetri mumbled as barbara was entering the prison.

"demeti..." maria answered admiring the beauty of jerome valeska.

"what if everybody is right and im not cobra kai material" demetri said with sadness laced in his words.

"i dont care what the others say you dont need to do karate" maria smiled at the nerdy boy.

"i do want to do it except your sensei is kinda scary" demetri stated with a slight shiver.

"well you could always join miyagi do like sam" Maria responded actually not caring about the dojo war.

"maybe ill give cobra kai another chance after the tournament and if im still not comfortable ill try miyagi do" demetri explained before returning back to the show.

Once demetri dropped maria off home she saw her mom with johnny. If anyone else saw them two they would instantly believe they were in love but unfortunately both were in serious denial.

"hey maria i got the class to film training so you can keep up" johnny stated with a massive warm smile before entering his own apartment.

The blue haired girl entered her bedroom to be greeted by her brother.

"want to train with me?" miguel asked kindly with a smile.

"sure why not gotta keep up" maria shrugged removing her leather jacket and throwing it on her bed.

The twins got into fight stance and instantly starting to dodge kicks and punches near enough every breath. It was clear the pair were both still hurting and karate wasn't working. After a good hour of training they fell to the floor all sweaty and gross.

"where did we go wrong pietro" Maria asked looking at her twin.

"i dont know wanda" Miguel shrugged.

Both gave one another a sad smile until both sat up with a possible very bad idea.

"we need to make them jealous" Miguel says with enthusiasm.

"oh my god i have the perfect person" maria smirked.

It was that moment the diaz twins didnt realise how much they were changing. They were turning toxic. The never wanted to turn into what they currently were as normally they would know it would end in upset and pain however thats what they were feeling.
