Jaehyun
It must have been the bed or the never-ending sound of crickets, or the floral smell of the room.
But damn hell, I couldn't sleep.
I grab my phone and checked the time to find that it was almost midnight. Normally, I would easily fall asleep even if I'm in a new place, we've been to various countries and places, so it was an easy thing for me. Also with how the bed's so soft and comfortable, I should be snoring in sleep right now.
Sighing, I pulled my blanket up to my chest. I'd like to go down but I'm afraid I'd disturb Mr. Kang who's in the living area. There's only one bedroom, I asked him to sleep here since it's more comfortable and sleeping on the couch isn't good for his health but he insisted that I should sleep here.
What the hell is wrong with me?
I was about to push my covers off me when suddenly I heard a soft melody. It was just a simple one with repeating notes. From the sound of it, it was coming from the music room.
Is it Mr. Kang?
I stayed on my bed and continued to listen.
The melody reminds me of spring, lavender, and early mornings.
But why does it sound so melancholic?
I closed my eyes and continued to listen as I let myself drown in the music until I've lost myself in it—
and fell asleep.
