Jaehyun

I moved quickly to catch her before her head could hit the floor.

"Soyoung?! Hey, Soyoung!"

Lola appeared and touch Soyoung's hand. I picked up Soyoung and took her to the bedroom and laid her down on the bed. Maybe I should have never told her anything. I turned to watch her and saw that she was breathing properly. I'll just let her rest then. I was about to turn around but she suddenly grabbed my hand.

"Min Seok..."

Sighing, I pulled her hand away and walked out of the room. I went back to the kitchen to clean things up.

I wonder what happened between him and my grandfather. Kim Soyoung was obviously someone important to him, and both seem to have mutual feelings toward each other. But why did he leave? Why didn't he come back and then married someone who he doesn't even love instead?

This is absolutely the reason for his last will. He knows I can visit Soyoung, but for what?

Soyoung was clueless about his death until now, but is it enough? I wish he could be more specific. Is it an object, a food, a letter—No wait? I quickly finished everything and then went to the second floor of the house to the study. My grandfather is fond of writing, he's a well-known writer, and he loves books.

I quickly went over to the shelf and searched for a specific book. After a good minute, I was finally able to find it. The only book that is written in our language. I took it out and flipped the pages.

He must have left something in here. I flipped through every page until I reached the last one, but to no avail, I found nothing, not even small writing.

"This is driving me crazy"

I closed the book and was about to put it back when I noticed something inside the shelf. Just at the back of the small empty space where the book was placed, something's placed inside it. I reached for it and took it out.

It was a journal. I lay the book on the table and turned to the journal. Its sides were already worn from use. Red leather covered the journal and a Polaroid was clipped inside.

It was a photo of someone who looks so much like me.

Jung Min Seok—February 14th

I walked over to a near chair and opened the journal.

A small note was written in his handwriting on the first page. I read it.

To whoever is in possession of this and is currently reading my words, I am very happy that you have found this. It means that my words will never be left unsaid.

And I'm happy, knowing Soyoung is not alone anymore.
