Birdie and I sat on the blacktop of a basketball court while Baylor played. Because this is one of the few days we have off, Baylor and I decided to go to our nearby court to have a picnic. Birdie got up and ran over to her dad, holding onto his leg. He picked her up and continued to dribble before shooting in into the goal. When it went it, I clapped for him.

He chuckled and turned to face me. "Thanks number one." He smiled. I laughed and walked over to him. He threw the ball to me and I attempted to dribble. I tried to shoot and it completely missed the goal. I laughed and ran after it.

"That's why I hate sports." I handed the ball to him and grabbed Birdie. He smiled and kissed me before continuing to play. "Let's go get our bikes and go into town." He offered and I nodded.

"That sounds like fun." I packed up and we walked back home. We both grabbed our bikes and on the back of Baylor's is a seat that Birdie can sit in. I put on her helmet along with ours before we left for town.

I sat at a table outside of our favorite healthy restaurant called Healthy You. Baylor walked over to the table and put down me and Birdie's açaí bowl before sitting down with his own. "Thank you." I smiled as I took off my mask and started eating. Our bowl had a base of açaí mixed with bananas and apple juice, granola, strawberries, blueberries with agave drizzled on top. Baylor got a similar bowl with granola, chocolate protein, banana, and peanut butter drizzled on top.

"Is it yummy?" I chuckled and looked down at Birdie as she had açaí all over her face. I grabbed a napkin and wiped it. She leaned forward and I fed her more. After we finished, we threw everything away, put our masks back on, and started making our way back.
