I came out of the bathroom with a pair of black running shorts and a large T-shirt. I had my uniform and my work shoes in a plastic bag. "Bye Ella." My boss, Ruth, waved as I clocked out.
"Bye Ms. Ruth." I waved back and went out to my car. The sun was starting to come out as I got in and started it up. I called Baylor and after a few rings he answered.
"Morning babe." He replied. "Morning, do you want some coffee?" I started to drive. "No, I made some this morning." I nodded. "Alright, I'll see you when I get home."
"Love you." He replied before hanging up. I tapped my fingers to the steering wheel as I listened to the radio.
I got home to an empty house. I turned the lights on and smiled when I saw a plate and a cup on the counter. There was a note and I read it
B and I are at the gym. Enjoy your breakfast and I love you so much
-BaylorI took the napkin off the plate and saw cheesy scrambled eggs and Turkey bacon. I warmed up my plate and made some toast before sipping my coffee. Baylor made me a caramel latte. I sighed happily and ate.
I walked out of our bedroom with a pair of lavendar sweatpants and a matching sports bra. I smiled when the front door opened and Baylor and Birdie came in.
"Hello!" I smiled as Birdie ran to me. I picked her up and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Did you have fun with daddy?" I went over to Baylor and hugged him.
"Yeah!" She smiled and I put her down. Baylor wrapped his arms around me and kissed me repeatedly. I laughed. "Had a good workout, huh?" He chuckled before taking off his shirt.
"Go shower mister." I smiled as he went to the bathroom.
