"Want to help?" I looked down at Birdie. We were making personal pizzas for dinner and I just put sauce on mine and hers. She climbed into her counter helper and I handed her a spoon so she could smear on the sauce. A few minutes later, Baylor joined us and started making his.
"These are going to be good huh?" Baylor asked Birdie. "Mhmm!" She smiled and piled on pepperoni. I chuckled softly and put our pizzas on a cookie sheet. After Baylor finished his, he put it in the oven. I helped Birdie down as she coughed.
"You ok baby?" I asked and handed her sippy cup so she could drink from it. She took a drink and walked away. I smiled softly and cleaned up from making dinner. "Mama play." She tapped on my leg. "Hold on baby." I threw something away before following her into her room.
Her room is rainbow themed with a giant rainbow painted over her bed. She has a yellow bed frame with cream colored sheets and a rainbow comforter. She had a few squishmallows in a small pink tent with a rainbow floor pillow. A bookshelf was near her dollhouse that was mine when I was younger and a toy box.
"What are we playing with baby?" I sat on the floor. She went over to her play kitchen and grabbed some plates and silverware. She placed a plate in front of me before starting to "cook".
"Are you cooking for me?" I smiled. She brought over a pan and gave me a plastic tomato and lettuce. "Oh thank you." I pretended to eat it and I handed her my plate. "Can I have more?" She nodded and started to cook more.
After finishing dinner, I gave Birdie a bath. I washed her hair and got her out of the bathtub. I put on a new diaper and pajamas before we did her nighttime treatments.
