"It's ok babe, you didn't know." Baylor comforted me as I cried. "I-I know, this is going to be so hard." I sniffed and wiped my eyes. His arms wrapped around me tighter as I shook. This is the longest time that I've been away from my parents. Birdie would spend the night all the time and now she can't see them.

"Mama no cry." I heard Birdie say and I looked up. She walked over to us and climbed onto the couch next to me. "I know baby." I sniffed and wiped my eyes. She laid her head on my arm and looked up at me. "Love you." I smiled and kissed her forehead. "I love you too."

I stood in the doorway of our garage as Baylor and Birdie played outside. Today is such a beautiful day and I wanted to bring some fresh air in. I put on my black slides and went outside as well. Baylor had out Birdie's tiny soccer goal and he was helping her play.

"Are you playing soccer?" I smiled. "Yeah!" She giggled and ran to her small pink soccer ball. She kicked it and it went into the goal and she clapped. "Good job baby!" I clapped as well as her dad gave her a high five.

Birdie had flushed cheeks when she came in with her dad. She went over to her small table and took a large sip of her water bottle as she started eating her pretzels and cheese. Every time she coughed loudly, Baylor and I would both make sure that she was ok and getting all of the mucus out. When she eventually finished her snack, I cleaned up as she climbed onto the couch with her cup.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" Baylor asked and she nodded sleepily. He turned on Tangled as we watched it together.
