chapter 5

"I know it hurts hearing that, but it's true. Maybe one day you find a way back to each other, maybe not. Who knows. It was a right person but wrong time. Lex, you're seventeen! You have whole life in front of you! If it was meant to be, you'll find a way back to each other, but that should not be you begging for him, okay?"
"B-But I want him now. Not in few months with a big m-maybe in front of it."
"I know Lex, I know it's hard. Do you want me to stay with you?"
Cooper asked broken girl after he parked the car. She was like a sister to him, which she indeed was. He just wanted to help her.
"I- uh, I mean if you w-want to."
Girl muttered out, she didn't want to bother him any more but she really could use his company right now.
"Okay then, let's go inside."
He tapped her knee that was up to her chest and they got out the car, walking in the house.

Girl let Marley down on the floor after they walked inside.
"I, um, I'll be back in second, I need to go to bathroom. "
Cooper nodded as girl walked upstairs.
She looked herself in the mirror, her face puffy, eyes bloodshot red and hair was all messed up.
she looked like mess.
"Better if I didn't look."
She said under her breath, washing her face with water.
She walked downstairs, only to see Cooper with popcorns, ice cream and soda with movie on the TV. Blankets were around him as he sat on the L shaped couch.
"Hey, I found us a movie to watch, and they say ice cream is good after break up, so."
He said with chuckle trying to light up Lexi's mood.
"Thank you Coop."
He nodded, smiling and she sat on other part of couch, wrapping blanket around herself and grabbing box of chocolate flavored ice cream and spoon.

While watching the movie, Lexi fell asleep and Cooper thought if he should leave her there or bring her in one of the rooms, since he didn't wanted to wake her up.
He decided just to leave her on the couch, not wanting to touch her. He wrapped her in more blankets and turned TV off getting comfortable on his side of couch.

LEXI'S P.O.V.

I woke up by Marley licking my face. I looked around only yo see Cooper in kitchen putting stuff in fridge and cabinets.
"Oh, good morning."
He said quickly looking at me as I walked up to him.
"Morning. What's all this?"
"Oh, I went a little grocery shopping, there was not much food here."
"Coop you really didn't need to. Tell me how much you spent? I'll PayPal you back."
"It's really not needed Lex, it's alright."
"No, really Coop, please."
"No, I'm taking care of you right now, so just let me do it on my own, I didn't even spent that much money."
"Ugh, thank you Coop. I really don't know what I'd do without you."
"Of course."
He gave me side hug. He is my best friend, for real. And I really do trust him and see him as older brother, and I do feel the same energy with him, especially once he told us about his family situation.

There was a knock on the doors and I looked confused at Cooper, no one was supposed to come.
He smiled at me motioning me to go and open them.
I slowly walked to doors opening them and peaking my head out.
"Hi bitch!"
Lynn yelled jumping on me with bags in her hands.
"Besties dayy!"
Larri yelled hugging me before walking in and I hugged with John and Mia.
"How are you doing?"
John asked walking with me to living room as everyone was already there sitting.
"Well, I don't know really."
He nodded.
"It, it just hurts. I don't know. Many things happened but it wasn't a reason for him to just break up with me."
"Well, I don't know what happened there, but I'm sure he wouldn't do it without valid reason."
"No, I think he would. Everytime something happens he pushes me away. And if anything right thing to do is to stay with me and we both can go through it together and not just pushes me away, and we weren't even home."
"I know, but y-"
"Why are you having his back? Do you know him better than I do? Or do you know things I don't know about?"
"No, but I saw the way he was looking at you. He is in love with you, I don't think it was easy for him to leave you after everything, but things happen for a reason Lex. Just stop thinking about him and you'll forget about him faster."
He said putting his hands on my shoulders as we stood in hall.
"But I can't."
"Just distract your self, we'll all be there with you, okay?"
I nodded and he pulled me in hug.
"C'mon guys, we are gonna make a party!"
Lynn yelled walking were John and I were.
We walked in the living room and they already settled everything up.
"Y'all, sorry, I'm not in the mood for the party."
"Yes damn you are. Also few girls from your birthday party are coming."
"You are not gonna cry over hetero man, dude. C'mon, we gotta get you ready for the party!"
Larri yelled bringing me upstairs with him, Mia and Lynn.
"Okay, I got you my dress, I know you love it."
Lynn said pulling black shiny dress out of her bag.
"Lynn, Larri, Mia, no. I seriously am not in the mood."
"Listen bitch, you were kidnapped for a week, and now that fucking guy breaks up with you and we are not letting you go depressed again."
"I understand you are sad, but better if we find you distraction, maybe you even find a new man."
"Or a girl, girls are better."
Larri adds on Lynn's sentence.
Lynn wiped away my tears cupping my face.
"Now let me make you a bad bitch."
She whispers smirking.
"You already are one, we'll just make you the baddest yet."
"Yes ma'am!"
Larri adds grabbing my hand.
"And then in the morning, we can talk about stuff that happened. Okay baddie?"
I nodded and they both cheered.
"Hey guys!" John yelled at the other side of the doors.
"Yeah?"
Lynn opened the doors as me, Mia and Larri watched from behind.
"Hey, they called saying that we are going into the club tonight, I thought I'd let you know."
"Club?"
I whined slapping my head.
"Even better, we can find you some bitches." Larri said as they all laughed, except me.
"Okay bye babe." Lynn said closing doors.
John's eyes widened and soon she slapped her head as me and Larri slapped our hands over our mouth.
John smirked leaving and lynn slapped her head again.
"BYE BABE!"
Larri yelled grabbing my neck pulling me closer.
"LYNN! BABE?!"
"ARE Y'ALL TOGETHERP?"
I yelled happily as we waited for her to answer.
"I, uh, yeah, actually."
"BITCH!"
"YOU DIDN'T TELL US!"
"I uh, it wasn't really a great time, nor this now is, uh."
"What are you talking about?!"
"Well, Jaden was in hospital, and all that, and then you guys went missing, and everything, so I didn't want to tell Larri and Mia and not tell you, but I thought I'll wait few more weeks, but I'm stupid, obviously."
"Noo Lynny! It's always time for YOUR happines! You shouldn't worry when it's time for your happines okay?"
"GODDAMMIT LYNN HAS BOYFRIEND!"
"QUEEN SHIT, GET THE D!"
Larri, Mia and I yelled jumping around. I wasn't in mood right now, but I was happy for both of them and I'm not going to ruin the moment just cause I'm mentally fucked up.

We got ready and walked downstairs. Girls arrived, everyone except Addison.
"Hey bub." Nessa said pulling me in hug.
I hugged with everyone.
"Okay we are going to party now and get drunk!"
Olivia yelled and we all walked in different cars.
"Hey, Addi told me that she wish she could've come with us, but she's pregnant so it's not really time to go to club."
Nessa whispered grabbing my hand.
"I know, it's okay, I know Jaden told them all 'not to brag me in more shit'."
"No, it's really not that. She told me she'll come at your different day so you can talk.
But all of them are confused what happened, Jaden didn't tell them anything."
"Can we just, like, not talk about it now really, it makes me feel more anxious."
"Of course baby, sorry for mentioning."
"It's okay."
I weakly smiled and we parked in front of club.
We showed our fake ID's and walked in without problems.
