chapter 20

*Time skip: 10 days

Christmas was coming up, it was just in five days. Our friend group: Jaden, Me, Josh, Nessa, Bryce, Addison, Anthony, Avani, Kio, Olivia, Vinnie, Riley, Dixie, Griffin, Blake and Amelie decided to do a secret Santa, well it was idea of girls but they all agreed on doing it. I got Avani, so I was thinking what could I buy her.
We also agreed on doing that with our families, since they all were coming at mine and Jaden's for Christmas. I got Nick, but I planned on buying everyone gift cards in their favorite places to eat, and one for Jaden. At the end of the day, after all he did for me he deserved a special gift for Christmas.
We also find two houses that we'll rent in Wyoming for our trip for New Years. We are going there just two days after Christmas.
I was going shopping today with Lynn, John, Mia and Larri, we will also be exchanging gifts, also like a secret Santa.
"Okay babe they are here! I'll see you later."
"Wait a second pretty!"
Jaden yelled from office running with me to front yard.
"Are you sure you don't want my card?"
"Jadenn I told you! I'm buying gifts with my own card, not yours, stop being annoying."
I said kissing his lips.
"But I just don't want you spending too much money."
"Don't worry babe."
"Okay, call me or text me, I might be going to shop too today."
"Okay, I will, and you call me if something happens."
"I will, be safe and have fun!"
"I will, bye!"
I waved sitting down in John's car.
I exchanged my hi's with them and we drove off to mall.
We decided we'll separate, just because we obviously didn't want each other to know who is buying gift for who.
Since I got John, I decided I'd buy him some video games, some hoodie and pair of shoes I knew he wanted to buy. I'll also buy some sweets later for all of presents I get for people, just because, c'mon like, it's Christmas season, everyone wants snacks.
I met with Mia in one store, accidentally and then she went with me to buy gift for Avani.
I decided I could buy her some palettes, since she is really into make up. And then I could maybe buy her some nice pajamas, or even slippers, depends on what I find. And then along with that, I'd buy her some snacks later when I pack everything up.
I don't even think it's about how expensive is present, I think it's just important who gave it to you and if person loves you, it's not important if it's a bag of chips or some expensive shoes.

We met with everyone outside the mall, and we left everything in the car.
"Okay, shall we go eat now?"
"Yeah, let's go."
We went in some pizza restaurant and ordered food.
Once we finished eating, we let a guy that was working there chose a card, and he chose John's.
"Goddammit, I ain't going to eat ever with you again."
He groaned and we went out the mall sitting in the car.
I thought that I could call Kio tomorrow to go shop with me, I wanted to buy Nick new console and he is into electronics so he'll know what should I buy. And then after that I am going to buy gift cards and Jaden's gift, and then I have to go shop with Jaden for little chickens and for clothes for our trip.
Girls and I also ordered same pajamas, we are gonna have a little Christmas gathering for Christmas eve, so we all we'll be matching.
They dropped me off at mine and Jaden's house, and I got all of my stuff from trunk and walked in the house waving to them as they drove off.
"Babe, you home?"
"Hiii babyy, how your shopping went?"
He walked out the living room, grabbing all bags from my hands and setting them on the floor before wrapping his arms around my waist.
"It was good, I bought two gifts, I still have more shopping to do, and we have to go to Walmart so I can buy some snacks I planned."
"Whatever you say baby."
He mumbled into my neck kissing it before he lifted me off the ground and walked into living room.
He sat on couch with me in his lap and we just enjoyed each others company, my head in crook of his neck, and his head in the same position.
"I missed you whole day today."
"I know, I missed you too baby."
"I hate texting you, I'd rather have you in my arms."
I blushed kissing his neck as he moved my hair more to right shoulder.
"So can I know who you shopped for today?"
"Yeah, John and Avani."
"Ooh, and what you bought them?"
"I bought Avani some make up palettes and stuff like that, some slippers and I need to buy some snacks and stuff like that, and for John I bought him some shoes I know he wanted to buy, and I bought him some hoodie and stuff like that, and I also need to buy snacks for him."
"That's nice."
"I hope so."
"Oh I'm sure they'll like it."
Marley busted into living room, jumping right on the couch.
"Hey baby boyy."
I said in soft voice hugging him.
He started licking me and tried to jump between me and Jaden, but he was already so big he couldn't fit.
"I missed you too Marley."
"Did you eat anything while you were out?"
"Yeah we bought pizza."
"Good." Jaden mumbled kissing my cheek.
The night came up and Jaden and I were now in bed, talking about something random while I laid on my back, my head falling off of the bed and he sat with his back against headboard.
Eventually we fell asleep, both with smiles on our faces.
But I still couldn't figure out what should I buy him for Christmas.
I know I said it's not that important but still, I wanna give him something good.
I could buy him shoes, yeah, maybe, and then I could buy him, hm, maybe a guitar? He mentioned multiple times how he used to play guitar but then his father ruined it and he stopped. And then I will just buy him a lot of his favorite snacks, but I'll pack it differently. And buy him a Starbucks gift card because he drinks their coffee every day. And I could just buy him few shirts or hoodies, he needs new ones though. Or instead of clothes, no wait, I actually made up my mind.
So, I buy us matching pajamas, shoes and channel chain we talked about earlier, and then I'll buy him guitar for his birthday, it's not that far away from new year. Just like a month. Yeah, I think that'll do. And also gift card and snacks. I think that should be fine, I mean, he has my love, that should be the most important thing.
