chapter 50

"Okay are we ready to start ride back home?"
"Uh, yeah, sure."
I was sitting on the floor with Marley between my legs while we were playing.
Jaden pecked my lips and sat in front, turning on the engine.
We'll still probably take a week to get home, Jaden told me he doesn't want to ruin everything just cause people in his mafia are stupid.
Jaden and I just talked while music on the radio was low.
I love talking to him, I get to know every side of him, how he thinks and sees stuff. And not to mention how hot he looks while driving and being focused on the road while still managing to be concentrated on the conversation.

"Babe, let's find a place to park, you are too tired, you've been driving the whole damn day."
"I don't have anywhere to park right now."
"You can just pull over here. Who cares, there's no rule you can't."
"I don't know about that babe, it's pretty dark out here and I don't think it's safe."
"Jaden. We've e been living like this past month. We were never 'safe'."
"Yeah, you're right."
"I know."
He found a place and pulled over.
"C'mon, let's sleep."
I pecked the back of his hand as we walked in the back, where our bed was.
"I'm kinda glad that we are going back. Addison kinda got us with planning the fucking wedding while we're not there."
"I know."
"Ugh I can't wait to cut my damn hair, what even is this shit?"
He pulled his hair, it was pretty long if I'm being honest.
"I know, my hair is completely dead."
"Ugh, c'mere."
He took off his shirt and shorts and pulled me on his chest. I was already whole day only in boxers and oversized tee without a bra so I was ready to sleep.
"I really liked our trip."
"But it's again finishing with something bad."
"Who gives a fuck. We had the best time. I mean, at least I did."
"Gosh are you crazy? This was one of best things that I did. But the first one will always be that I fell in love with you."
"Gosh I love you so much."
"I love you more."
"Nope."
"Yup."
"Nope. Now stop complaining and go to sleep."
"Good night baby."
"Night love."
I kissed his jaw and drifted off to sleep.

"Jae? Jae?"
I jumped up and shaked Jaden's body, he was still sleeping. I heard something on our RV, sound of scratching.
"Jae!"
I whisper yelled while shaking him.
He hummed while he was still sleeping.
"Jae, something is outside."
"Yeah, world. Now go to sleep."
"No, I'm not joking, something is outside of our house. I heard the sound of scratching."
"You were just dreaming babe, go back to sleep."
"No I didn't! Listen."
There was a moment of silence and you could clearly hear something right out of the RV.
"See! I don't wanna die."
I said pulling up my knees to my chest.
"What if it's a serial killer and now is just playing with us before he kills us?"
"Calm down babe, it's probably not a big deal. Maybe just some animal. Here, I'll go check."
"No! Then he kills you and what do I do? You're gonna stay here with me."
"It's okay babe, I'll just go up here on the roof."
He opened the little window and climbed up through it.
"Jae-"
"Oh shit, we're gonna die.
Lexi stay where you are!"
He said before he went out my sight, it looked like he was pulled up by somebody.
I cover my mouth with my hand before slowly starting to move one the bed, closer to the window.
I screamed when I saw something jump up there.
Jaden busted out laughing, reaching his hand down for me.
"You are not fun! I-I was about to die from heart attack!"
"Sorry babe, but it was so fun. You're so paranoid."
"Yeah, well it's not my fault."
"Come up here."
"You may didn't get killed by serial killer, but I'll do it for him now!"
I said getting up through the window, not using Jaden's hand.
"You wouldn't know what do do without me. You just said it yourself."
I slapped his head before holding onto his arm and standing close, a little behind him.
"Look."
He pointed down, there was a raccoon trying to get in in our RV while smaller ones were behind him, right where the woods started.
"Aaww. Move from there you little bitches I wanna sleep."
Jaden's eyes widened before we both started laughing.
"Okay, let's go back to sleep now."
"He will scratch our RV!"
"Well I'm def not gonna touch him, and even if I move him he'll come back."
We got back in our bed and laid down under covers.
Jaden's back was facing me while I was laying on my back. I could hear his snores which made me smile. He fell asleep so fast. I scooted closer to him and wrapped my arm around his torso.

When we woke up, we started our ride. We're going to Seattle and then we'll stay there for some time, before we go back to LA. We'll go all the way next to ocean, so we'll also go to San Francisco. I love that city.

Sun started setting down as it got darker outside.
We made few shorter pauses when Jaden needed to go to bathroom and to eat, but they weren't that long, because we wanted to have more time in cities.
"Gosh this shit is draining."
"I know, I can just imagine how much more you are exhausted."
I said pulling him in my chest as we laid down in the bed.
"But then tomorrow I won't need that long to drive."
"Yeah, but you shouldn't just force yourself that much, your eyes will literally start hurting."
"Don't worry babe."
"Well I need to when you don't want to listen to me. I told you that you should've at least take a nap but you're so stubborn."
"Shh princess. You're sounding like a mom and you are rumbling too much."
"Well someone needs to."
"Shut up before I make you."
"You shut up and sleep."
"Only if you do too."
"I will gladly."
Jaden pretended to snore, making me slightly slap his head.
"Goodnight love."
"Goodnight Jae."
I planted a small kiss on his head before we both drifted away to sleep.
