The shows in the UK were great.  We've never played in front of those big of crowds, and it was exhilarating.  We played in Mexico City, moving our way up to Wantagh, New York where I was the most excited to play.  There were about two days between Wantagh and East Rutherford that I had to spend in Saranac Lake.  The One Direction boys would stay in New York while the other 5SOS boys asked if they could come with me.  I agreed, so it'll just be the boys.  Liz and Adeline decided to stay in New York until we come back, hoping to get some bonding time.  Whatever floats their boats.  It was currently just after our show in Wantagh, and I was driving us to Saranac Lake.  The boys were all asleep, Cal, Mikey, and Lucas all curled up with each other in the back seat, and Ashton had his head on the window.

It was late, but I wasn't tired.  1) I woke up at around 3:00 PM, because I told the boys to leave me alone, and 2) I suffer from this beautiful thing called insomnia.  I was currently jamming out to my "Best Beats" playlist to help keep me up, and we were getting much closer to our destination.  We left at about 9:00 because we didn't need to stay for the One Direction portion, and they were okay with us leaving.  It takes about 5 hours to get to Saranac Lake from Wantagh, and it was currently 1:30 AM.  We should be able to get to Brian's house around 2:00 AM.  Brian had told us that we could stay with him for the day and a half before heading down to East Rutherford.  It actually takes less time for us to get to New Jersey than to anywhere around New York City.

Another half hour of driving later, and I was pulling up outside Brian's house.  I shook Ash's arm, trying to wake him up.  He wouldn't budge.  I shook Cal's leg.

"Cal.  We have to wake up.  We're here," I said.  No response.  I did the same to Lucas and Mikey.  Finally, I'd had it.  I turned on "Under Cover of Darkness" by The Strokes and turned it up loud.  All four of them jumped awake, and I turned it down immediately, not wanting to wake the entire neighborhood.  The boys slowly made their way out of the car, trudging around tiredly.

"Jesus," Ash muttered.

"Wakey wakey!  Eggs and bakey!  We are here sunshines, and it will be a great day!" I cried, not trying to be considerate to them just waking.  I opened my door and climbed out, heading to the back and opening the hatch.  I pulled out the five suitcases and my pillow.  The boys were slowly trudging their way out of the car, making their way to the back to grab the bags.  I noticed that the living room light was on in Brian's house.

"I'm exhausted," Mikey says.  I nod.

"Yeah, well, inside, there is a nice comfy bed for two of you to share.  I'm going to be crashing on the couch," I told them.  Lucas gave me a look.

"Um...I think I'll take the couch," he said.  I spun around to face him.

"What?  No, I am fine on the couch," I replied, not wanting him to be chivalrous.

"Nope, this is your uncle's house.  I want you to sleep in a bed," he persisted.  I scowled at him, and he crossed his arms, returning my look.  I finally obliged.

"Fine.  I'll camp out with Ash," I agreed.  He gave me a curt nod, and we headed up to the steps.  I rapped my knuckles on the wooden door.  I heard a young woman say something about them being here and the shuffling of feet over to the door.  The door quickly swung open to reveal a young woman with a sweet face and very red hair.  She grabbed my arms and pulled me into a huge hug.  Over her shoulder, I saw Brian come into the room, a smile spread across his face.  That was when I knew that he loved her.  I wrapped my arms around her torso, embracing her and completing the hug.  We pulled away, and she had a huge smile on her face that I am sure I returned.

"You must be Jordan," she said, studying my face and trying to learn every part of it.

"And you must be Katy," I replied.  She nodded.  "I've heard so much about you," I told her.  She laughed.  We stood, smiling and studying each other until I remembered that I wasn't alone.  "Oh!  I almost forgot!  These are my bandmates," I told her, stepping back so they were in view.  They gave small waves as I introduced themselves to Katy, and I was happy.  Brian had finally found a girl.  A girl who hopefully wouldn't cheat on him.  If I was any kind of judge on character.
