I was crying.  I couldn't believe it.  I was crying in a cab while the cabbie drove me back to my hotel.  I couldn't believe this.  But I also could.  Jordan wasn't one to easily make decisions.  But this proposal.  Her coming backstage to a show.  I couldn't wait.  But I didn't know when it was.

These were pretty much all of my thoughts as I was being transported to my hotel.  I sat in silence as I watched the streets of a wintery London night pass by through my window.  When we made it to the hotel, I quickly paid the cabbie much more than he needed and let him keep the change before stepping out onto the curb.  I made my way through the falling snow to the door and quickly went inside, wanting refuge from the chill.  I wandered over to the elevator and made my way up to my floor.  As I walked up to my door, I could hear a ruckus only caused by the boys and probably Aimie.  I slid the key into the door and stepped inside to find them all on the floor playing video games.  They immediately looked in my direction, and I shut the door.

"This looks exciting," I said monotonously.  They all just nodded and gave half-hearted mumbles of agreement as they went back to their game.  I went over to my bed and sat down, letting the mattress take some weight from me.  I leaned over, feeling the ache in my body that only comes from stress and exhaustion, and attempted to slide off my shoes.  I got them off, finally, and then I went to take off my coat.  As I was taking off my coat, I realized that I still had Jordan's scarf tied tightly around my neck.  I sighed and took it off, feeling a rush of air around my neck.  I shivered a bit, and I took off my coat and set the scarf on top.  I heard the boys and Aimie cheer, and I turned to see that Aimie and Ashton had won whatever game they were playing.  Ash leaned over and kissed the side of Aimie's head, earning a small giggle.  I quickly looked away, back down to my feet.  This hurt me in so many ways.

"Hey, you okay, Luke?" I heard Calum say.  I didn't look at him, but I nodded.  I heard the music from the game stop, and before I knew it, there were four different people standing in front of me, studying me.

"You are not okay, Luke," Mike said.  I scoffed.

"Wow, your deductive reasoning skills are astounding," I told him.  Someone placed a hand on my shoulder, and I looked up to see Aimie giving me a sympathetic look.

"I knew this would happen, and I'm sorry.  But I have something for you," she said.  She let go of me and turned towards where her bag lay on the floor.  She handed me a bright green folder with blue painted flowers on it.  "This is for you."

"What is it?" I asked, confused.

"A song.  She wrote it for you.  I told her to bring it with her, but she didn't want to.  So here I am, bringing it for her.  She wanted you guys to perform it, so everything is in there.  Sheet music.  Lyrics.  Demo.  All of it.  I hope you enjoy it.  I know I like it a lot," she said.  "On that note, I better head back.  It was nice to hang out," she added.  Ashton gave a sad look and wrapped her up in a hug.

"I'll miss you," I heard him whisper.  She gave him a sympathetic smile and pressed a short but meaningful kiss onto his lips.  I turned away, not wanting to invade their privacy but also not wanting to bring up any memories of Jordan.  Before I even had a chance to say goodbye, Aimie was out the door and on her way.  I looked down at the folder in my hands, not wanting to open it and ruin its purity but also curious of what might by laying inside.  I chose the temptation of the latter and opened the folder, coming face to face with a lot of information.

"What's the name of the song?" Calum asked me.  I read the title of the sheet music.

Amnesia.
