"Have you ever thought about what happens if you run out of energy or perhaps just being so tired it'll be hard to fight off the monsters?" Aether snaps his head to look into your eyes, your mind in another place as you mindlessly kick some of the stones in your path.

You decided to accompany Aether on his trip to Liyue Harbor since you were very familiar with the place, telling him that you can assist him so he can attend the Rite of Descension to see the Geo Archon.

"I never thought about that Y/N...why do you ask?" You shrug your shoulders and smile when a certain thought crosses your mind. It made you feel bubbly inside and the feeling just makes you feel so warm and loved.

"It was just a thought...I would be helpless if that's the case since I don't like fighting that much." Being a hydro vision wielded was something you never thought you would acquire. Fighting was something you didn't like doing and the only time you fight is when you know that you have to.

Fighting off hilichurls as you explore Liyue of all its beautiful scenery, picking a couple of flowers along the way to make a flower crown. There are times you have to glide and safely reach your destination while holding onto your flower crown tightly. The wind was always so gentle with you like a hand was slowly guiding you to your place in safety.

"That's fine Y/N I'm here to fight if you can't bring yourself to fight." Paimon agrees as you three get near Dihua Marsh your stomach jumps when you know that you're getting near Wangshu Inn. A certain adeptus awaits your return and you were very excited to be in his arms again.

"Be careful with the camps around here..." you mumble and look up to see the familiar building in the distance. Your eyes light up as you happily walk faster making Paimon question the new pace.

"We should stay in Wangshu Inn for a day or so to rest." You gleefully say, knowing what's to come the moment you set foot on the balcony. You always venture out throughout the day to come back to meet a very familiar adeptus. He would scold you if he saw a scratch on you and would rush you to relax as he tries his best to take care of you, a light blush on his cheeks as he mutters how you should forget what he's doing.

"Wangshu Inn? I guess you're right since the sun is close to setting." Aether stares into the sky, the clouds greeting his gaze as they slowly move. The group makes their way until they come across a hilichurl camp and one of them notices Paimon.

"Ah! Hilichurls!" Paimon screams while floating away, Aether readying his sword as he dashed forward to fight off the hilichurls. You try your best to fight alongside Aether, helping him as much as you could and before you realized the situation you were getting ambushed fast.

"Y/N!" Aether cried out trying to fight them faster and before you knew it you were quick to scream out his name.

"XIAO!" You squeeze your eyes shut, tears threatening to fall as you realize that the price to pay for not wanting to fight is a heavy one. You hate relying on others to help you and you hate knowing that you'll only become a burden.

"Cry!" Hearing that voice made you slowly open your eyes, tears blurring your vision as you watch him kill the monsters in front of you. His angry face comes into view while dodging some attacks.

You knew he wasn't angry at you, he was angry at the sight of your injured abdomen that you failed to realize that you got hit in the middle of battle. The pain started kicking in now as you hunch over, heaving at the feeling as you try to focus your vision on your hand. Vision going blurry and you look up to barely see Xiao as he catches your body with a sigh of relief.

'Thank goodness that you're not that injured' he turns around to face Aether and signals for him to follow as he rushes to the inn. Aether and Paimon exchanged a look of concern before following you two.

"What happened to Y/N?" Verr Goldet asks as she rushes to check on you while looking at Xiao before noticing the traveler behind him with his floating companion.

"Never mind that, take her to her room and bandage her up." She waves him off and smiles at the traveler before asking him his inquiries.

"Honestly I can't believe that you did something so reckless like that." Xiao groans, pacing back and forth, a feature he never does and ever since meeting you he does things he never thought he would do.

"I'm just glad that you're okay." He softly stares at you as a faint smile graces his lips while approaching your body and leaning his forehead against yours. He could feel the heat coming off of you and he leaves a small kiss on your forehead before sitting down to stare out into the sky.

This is so short, but I am three days late on posting this since I wanted to actually finish writing this to celebrate that Xiao came home ଘ(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭

I only did twenty pulls totaling with 79 rolls (I originally had 59 since I joined around Zhongli's banner in December and tried to roll on Albedo's banner as well! I only skipped on Ganyu's banner for Xiao so ehe)

I was originally supposed to do a ten pull and then singles, but it was worth doing twenty pulls instead since I got him ahhhh

Unfortunately my luck hasn't struck that much for his weapon, but I'm super happy that he came home. I hope to get more of him for his constellations, but I'm broke now (T＿T)

If I can't get him or his weapon I'll just save up for the next banner that I want to pull huhu. To the people who want to pull for Xiao I hope that you get him soon and I'm sending luck your way! I got the support from my friends and with the summoning circles I found on Pinterest plus I made almond tofu and summoned at Wangshu Inn where we first met ehe!
