The quiet morning of Liyue Harbor is what Zhongli enjoys the most as he gets himself ready for the day as Wangsheng Funeral Parlor's consultant. His mornings used to rush by in a blur as he adjusts his suit and ties his hair back, but recently it changed a lot after a certain someone has decided to always come to eat breakfast together.

"Yoo-hoo Zhongli~" he hums while putting on his gloves to turn around to see you standing at his bedroom door, a cheeky grin as you scold him for not greeting you at the door. Everything fell into place as you dragged him out of his home to Wanmin Restaurant and paid for the whole meal.

After breakfast you two would stroll around Liyue Harbor while admiring the view Zhongli staring at your side profile before looking forward with a small chuckle. His deep chuckle makes you turn towards him with a questioning glance before you stick close to his arm and cling to it. Your affectionate action catching him off guard and he just goes along with it.

"Do you really have to go meet up with that Fatui Harbinger?" you pout while looking around your surroundings, making sure there is no one to listen in on your private conversation. You were well aware that Childe has ordered for them to eavesdrop and report back to him on what they find out. It was unfortunate that things will have to end like this, but you know that Zhongli has everything under control.

"Yes he, apparently, has prepared something and I must meet with someone." Zhongli smiles and pats your head while you whine about how you fixed your hair for him. A storm is coming to Liyue Harbor was what Zhongli told you and reminded you to stay indoors if that day were to come soon.

"Well just stay safe okay?" You know all too well that this is going to be his final contract. A contract to end all contracts to be specific and as much as you wish for things to remain the same you prefer to make him happy. The only thing on your mind was the contract you made with him and he seemed to notice because the next thing he said made you blush.

"Do not fret about our contract my dear. For our contract lasts a lifetime." Those sweet words ring in your ears while you halt from walking, letting those words sink into your heart. Zhongli turns around to stare into your eyes with a small smile gracing his lips.

"If you say that then I have no choice, but to let you continue with your contract." You must, knowing that you can't do anything to stop the God of Contracts. He doesn't make any contract with just anyone over something so close to him.

"Thank you." Zhongli chuckles and as the day progresses you shun yourself in your quiet home to let the chaos outside fall into place. He accompanies you at one point while you look out the window to see Osial attacking the Jade Chamber.

"All will be well. If not I will step up to stop this." His deep voice lulls you to a peaceful sleep while he plays with your hair. You were in safe hands with him by your side and you can't wait for the rest of your life to be spent with him.

The moment you open your eyes you can tell that Zhongli no longer has his gnosis on him. The contract has been fulfilled making you worry about the future of Teyvat as a whole. The Tsaritsa's unknown plan still lingers into your mind as you approach Zhongli for a hug.

"I'm back." He mumbles while closing his eyes, appreciating the moment. It felt like it was just the two of you at that moment. What a precious moment to treasure and Zhongli can't wait to create more with you.

I'm not too sure about these changes on some stuff, but I apologize if I didn't warn you about the spoilers on the Liyue Act for the archon quests. I think I have stated in the beginning that this book will contain spoilers after all, if you read them at least.

I apologize for how short Zhongli's one shot turned out, but I do feel at peace writing this for now. I will try to write part two for "memories" pretty soon. I just have to think a bit more on how I want it to end, sad ending or happy ending. Ehehehe I do love writing you as a Fatui Harbinger the most so maybe I can make it a sad ending <3
