The cold lonely nights were something you didn't like dealing with. The missing warmth on the left side of the bed made you longing for a certain harbinger to come home and cuddle. He was known for being dislikable among the Fatui as his disagreeable personality clashes with others while being brutally honest. That didn't stop you from falling for said male.
You wanted to know more of him, see the parts he hid away from everyone. You wanted to see him for who he really is and not just the title he was bestowed upon. You wanted to know the real him and prove to him that he means so much to you.
You let out a sigh and sit up from the bed, pouting at the missing warmth while you pick yourself off the bed to hold onto his t-shirt and you let yourself wear it. Face red with embarrassment as you let yourself inhale his scent before looking at yourself in the mirror.
Your e/c eyes staring back into the reflection as you comb through your hair, humming softly at the feeling while imagining it was your beloved. He would comb his fingers through your hair as a small sign of affection. He was someone who doesn't show a lot of emotions or skinship, but it could change when it comes to you.
He felt more free with you by his side and his cunning smile got replaced with a genuine one when both of you were by yourselves. His mischievous eyes softening while staring into yours and his job didn't forbid the two of you from meeting.
"Would you have wished that you weren't dragged along into this string of trouble my dear?" He once asked a small blush decorating his cheeks while looking away.
"As long as you come home safe and sound I don't mind the danger. Besides how can I be in danger if you are by my side?" You cheekily smile, sending him a small kiss while picking up his hat to put it on his head.
"It's almost time for you to leave for Liyue Harbor." You sadly say a dreading feeling looming over yours as your eyes glossed over his. You never liked how he leaves for a long time and it's hard to know when he'll come back.
"Worry not my little robin. I'll return home soon." Before leaving he leaves a small kiss on your lips before whisking away to attend to his duties. His lips curling into a malicious smirk as he thinks of a new plan while calling for the soldiers to give orders.
"The night is long and you're still not back..." you rest your chin on your palm as you stare into the dark sky, thinking about everything so far. The darkness that lurks within the shadows howls into the lonely night and you could feel yourself slowly fall.
