"You're going to where now?" Amber questions the Cavalry Captain as she narrows her eyes, hands on her hips while she thinks back if Kaeya had any missions to do that the Acting Grand Master assigned. He had nothing much to do besides a couple of paperwork and handling the newest recruits.

"I'm going to simply take a small stroll around Starfell Lake." He smoothly says and turns on his heel to walk away from the very boisterous Outrider. His long strides make the trip a lot faster as he looks around to look for a certain electro user.

The moment he spotted your stressed face he quickly approached you. He smiles at how adorable you looked, eyebrows furrowed while you look around in your backpack for your map to find a suitable path to go visit Liyue Harbor.

You heard about the Lantern Rite Festival and didn't want to miss a chance to go check it out and buy some souvenirs to remember the event. The thought about seeing the pretty lanterns in the night sky along with the delicious food made you wish that you didn't misplace your map at all.

"Whatcha looking for?" A sudden voice caused you to let out a gasp as you looked up to see a smirking Kaeya as he was approaching you, hips swaying a little as he stood right in front of you. You tilt your head up a little at the very tall male while he still has the smirk plastered on his face.

"You scared me!" You couldn't help the pout that settled on your face unconsciously while zipping up your backpack before giving your full attention to Kaeya. He hums while looking around and clears his throat before staring into your eyes.

"Why so tense? I thought we were getting along quite fine." He faked a hurt voice while putting his hand on his chest, wiping away a fake tear before letting himself laugh to see your reaction.

"I was just looking for my map." You mumble, answering his question earlier before sitting down with a huff. It was honestly troublesome with how much you misplace a lot of things, even the simplest things get lost in your hands.

"Oh? I suppose you're going to that Lantern Rite in Liyue right? How about I escort you there myself hm?" Kaeya purrs while sitting down next to you, getting a little too close for your liking. His breath hits your neck and you fight the urge to blush before gulping a little as he carefully tucks a strand of your hair behind your ear.

"I thought you have duties to take care of?" You try to find a way to avoid his offer while he leans back to think about his duties before shrugging.

"I can always do them later on and you seemed so happy to hear about the festival when Katheryne told  you about it the other day." His observant report made you shake your head while standing up to stretch your body.

"So what say you my little bird?" The nickname only made you stop mid yawn and you coughed a little before turning around to face his smug face. It looks so tempting to just wipe it off his face with anything, but you found nothing to leave said man stunned.

"I don't want you to get in trouble by Jean." You decided on saying and watched Kaeya frown before standing up to get ready to leave.

"If the offer ever changes, you know where to find me." The glint in his eye only made you want to accept his offer and before you knew it he was already gone in a blink of an eye.

A very short one shot, but my brain was lacking on what to write for Kaeya at the moment...though I do like how this turned out despite the fact that it is quite short. Hmm well I still have more one shots to write and as much as I wanted this to be longer I don't think I can add more onto this since I didn't want to write about the Lantern Rite for this one shot Σ(O_Oil!)
