"I'm very curious about something Xiao." Xiao looks up from his plate of Almond Tofu, mouth stuffed with the delicious dish as he quickly swallows and raises a curious eyebrow. You were currently with Xiao at Wangshu Inn, relaxing and spending time with him before you set off to Inazuma with Lumine and Paimon.

At first their invitation of joining them made you think about it deeply, never one to really leave Liyue Harbor that much and after hearing how their archon are confiscating visions made you nervous. You instinctively held onto your dendro vision after hearing those news and visiting Inazuma might be a bad idea.

However with the help of Paimon's persistent pleads you had no choice, but to agree to her whims and it certainly made Lumine apologize over and over.

"I really didn't think she would bother you this much Y/N!" Lumine cried a little and the sight of her tears made you and Paimon panic. It certainly was a memory that will never be forgotten that's for sure.

"What are you curious about?" He grunted when he realized he finished his serving already and stood up, stretching his back while you quietly contemplated your sudden question. It was something you were oddly curious about for a long time after he started warming up to you as the days go by.

"I want to know more about your hobbies Xiao—"

"There's nothing timid about you, having the courage to ask about my hobbies. So, fight me. How long do you think your body will last against my blows?" Hearing his last sentence made you blush slightly, not really up to fighting him at all after the last time you sparred with him.

"U-uh.." You whisper, looking at your fingers, suddenly feeling shy at the intense gaze on your body and you just wanted to curl yourself into a ball and never leave. Sparring with Xiao is something that makes you want to not face the powerful male.

You remember how once during one of your practices an intruder ended up joining and watching Xiao swiftly kill them in one go without doing much frightened you. One stare from him after that made you flinch and nearly dropped your claymore on the ground.

"I rather now know you know because I kind of value my life right now Xiao..." You didn't want to admit the truth that you often watch him spar against Zhongli and watching how he fights honesty gets you so excited. The adrenaline rushing through your veins as you watch him get worked up by fighting a worthy person that can keep up with him.

His eyes basically glowing as he lunges forwards or even if he plunges it was all the more exciting. You just don't think you can survive one actual blow if he puts his full power in it so maybe surviving right now is the better option.

"Oh? You were so bold to ask so why are you going back now hm?" He narrows his eyes and you could feel yourself sweat at the intense stare before he softens up to lead you somewhere. You didn't want to ask where he was taking you and just let him take you away.

His grip spread warmth throughout your body and you didn't want him to let go at all. He tightened his hold onto your hand before humming a small tune while you both walked around.

"We're here." He let's go of your hand and gestures towards the scenic view of Guili Plains and you question why he decided to bring you here.

"We haven't practiced in a while and since it's my hobby..." Xiao trails off with a small smirk and takes out his polearm for you to ready your polearm. You dash forward to attack and the rest of the day went by like that.

Xiao wasn't kidding about how long your body could last against his blows. You didn't think you could still survive after this and wince when you realize you might not do much for the next couple of days with your sore body.

"My body hurts~" You whine while Xiao grumbles as he makes sure you don't fall off his back, a light grumble from your stomach was all that needed to be said. You blush brightly at the embarrassing sound and buried your face in his hair, relaxing at his scent.

"You're so warm." Was all you said before slowly falling asleep from his warmth and your body begging to rest from earlier activities.

"Humans are so complex..."

Hello hello I'm back with a new one shot request (*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ)) I feel very happy with how this turned out and although it's not as long as I wish it could be I'm so bad at drawing actions like fighting wise so I might just not make sense if I tried to write it out...
