Here I am as one. Here we are as one.
I take a breath. Extend my hand.
...
Hello?
<><><><><><><><><>
Chiyo Sakakibara is not a kind girl. She isn't friendly, she isn't particularly helpful if it doesn't directly benefit her, and she has never real...
I know my name, I know my face but why aren't you here, when we're supposed to both be?
And why are you gone, yet I remain?
Have I repelled you? Did you once exist and...
become, through my actions, eviscerated?"

Chapter 03
Errors and Correct Assumptions
-
"Iori! Help!"
Guilt.
That's what this feeling must be. There's no way around it, my actions and decisions led directly to the death of Hidemi.
Now I'm sitting, holding this notebook she left me. What to do with it?
I stared at one of the blank pages of paper, and I became incredibly confused when words began to appear out of nowhere.
"Convenient." It said to me.
"What?!" I shouted in confusion, jumping to my feet, still clutching the notebook.
"Calm down. It's me, Dissonance." Another line of writing appeared under it.
"How the hell are you doing that?!"
More words appeared. "Don't think about it too hard. This is just so we can communicate without actually speaking. On the subject, don't shout. Write back to me on the paper."
I grabbed the pen that came with the notebook. "Why would we need to communicate?"
"We don't. Not right now. But the game is about to get very complicated, so I need you to listen to me. Still got the key?"
"Yeah. What's it for?"
"I told you last night, just keep it safe for now. It took a lot of damn effort to get that key to you."
"How did you do that?"
"Again with the questions. Who are you, the Riddler?"
