Prompt: Enya climbing through Soren's bedroom window

Setting: Modern au/HIgh School au

---

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO THIS TIME?"

Soren jumps in alarm and looks over at his bedroom window to find Enya already halfway getting through his it, looking quite infuriated.

"You know you could have called or texted me to scold me - not that I mind you coming over in person just to do that." The teen laughs as his friend manages to get the rest of herself through the window. "But then again it'd save me from getting clobbered by you in person - hey!"

"You idiot! Do you even know how much trouble you are in?!" Enya yelled as she grabbed another shoe from the floor of Soren's room. "Claudia messaged me that she saw a football player from Xadia High screaming at you, and you two got into a shouting match! What the hell did you do to piss off one of the Assassins?"

"Will you stop throwing my stuff at me if I tell you?" Soren groans as he manages to catch one of his cleats that was thrown at his head. "Okay stop! That girl accused me of stealing the school's mascot - which I never stole in the first place!"

"Say what?!"

"First, put that helmet down before you think of throwing it at my head. Also, today was the first time I was hearing this as well, I didn't even know the school had a dragon egg as a mascot. Makes no sense really."

"Then if you didn't steal it, who did?" Enya asks as she tosses his helmet onto the floor and sits at the edge of his bed.

"Beats me, and I don't even know why that girl decided to go after me of all people." Soren says with a huff before turning his chair back around to face his desk.

"I wouldn't be surprised at the number of reasons she has for accusing you, but you probably seem like the type of guy who steals a rival team's mascot in her eyes." Enya says with a shrug.

"It was probably one of the Del Bar Mountainers, or the Neolandia Titans, they're our school's rivals who'd probably do anything to make us look bad."

"Highly doubt it. And stop doodling on your homework, you know our geology teacher hates it when he finds doodles on the assignments."

"It's so haaaaaaard!" Soren groans, flopping his head down on his desk. "If I don't pass I'll probably be kicked off the team and lose the scholarship! And on top of that, I have to deal with this whole missing dragon egg thing, and the rumors of our waterboy having a crush on Xadia's running back player!"

"Wait, you are stressed over Callum having a crush on someone from the rival school? Seriously?" Enya asks, trying to stifle her laughter. "Soren, who cares if Callum has a crush on her? He's just a waterboy, not a football player!"

"He's still a part of the team! And it's against our code: no dating or crushing on football players from opposing teams!"

"Right, along with dating or crushing on the "boring drama geeks" of the theater class."

"You're my friend, that's not against the code." Soren mutters, turning his head to hide his now blushing cheeks.

"Right, I should be very flattered that I am friends with the shining star of our school's best team in the county." Enya says sarcastically before getting up and walking over to his desk before ruffling the top of his hair. "Good luck on your assignment, I better leave before your dad barges in here and starts giving you an earful about having a girl alone with you in your room again."

"Can't you help me with this?" Soren asks as she starts to make her way to the window and pushes back his chair to follow her. "Pleeeeease? You are practically at the top of our class in that subject and I really need your help! I'll bring you a shake of your favorite flavor every day for the next five months!"

"Since when did you start trying to bribe me with food?" Enya asks with a laugh as she starts to climb out the window. "Tell you what, meet me tomorrow after school in the quad and I'll tutor you."

"I mean it was either bribing you with food or turning on my irresistible charm to get you to help me." Soren says as Enya is now already jumping to the tree branch outside his window. "So is that a yes?"

"Yes I am willing to tutor you so you can finally have one worry off your plate." Enya says as she is climbing down. "And you know I am 100 percent immune to your charm, you goof."

"It'll work one of these days, you'll see. One day you'll find my charm too irresistible to ignore."

"Unlikely! Now get to studying!"
