Mona:  Whoa.

Christian:  [Giggles]  I'll say. That was... that kiss was...

Mona:  Totally hot.

Christian:  Yeah... it was.

Mona:  But what are we doing? We're at each other's throats most of the time. We couldn't... we're not...

(Blair on the other side of the door and knocks a little.)

Blair:  Christian? Is everything alright? I thought I heard some shouting earlier.

Christian:  [Yells]   It's okay, mom. I was just watching a video on my phone. I'll go to sleep now.

Blair:  Have a good night then, honey. But you'd better remember that the walls are pretty thin. So, no... snoring okay?

Christian:  Umm... sure, I'll be careful.

(Blair walks off.)

Mona:  Oh my god, do you think she's on to us?

Christian:  No way. See? She's gone. Listen... I wasn't lying to you when I said I've never had a girlfriend.

Mona:  I know. I wasn't lying about my dating history, either.

Christian:  To be honest, I'd have no idea what to do with you. I don't know how to be a good guy... a guy you deserve.

Mona:  You are a good guy.

Christian:  Maybe, but... you deserve more than what I can give you right now, with everything that's been happening in my life recently... I feel like a complete mess. You, and this whole thing... I don't want to...

Mona:  So, what are you saying?

Christian:  I don't know. I'm not thinking right, all I can think about is kissing you again.

Mona:  Me too. [Giggles] You're a... good kisser.

Christian:  Just good?

Mona:  Pretty good. Good enough to make me want to close my eyes and kiss you until my lips hurt. [Giggles again]

Christian:  Wow.

Mona:  I'd kiss you this very second... ... I... have a suggestion.

Christian:  A suggestion?

Mona:  I think it would work well for both of us.

Christian:  What is it?

Mona:  Well, we're both new to this dating thing... why don't we keep feelings out of it? We've both done such immature things in regard to each other. Clearly we don't know what we're doing, we've both tried to steer clear of each other... time and again, but obviously it's impossible. Whatever attraction there is between us, it doesn't give us any choice... so we need to indulge in it, at least up to a point.

Christian:  What are you trying to say?

Mona:  Why don't we just... have fun?

Christian:  But--

Mona:  We're both consenting adults.

Christian:  Are you suggesting a... physical relationship only?

Mona:  Yeah, why not? It seems like the most sensible solution.

Christian:  Sensible? I guess... but I just think you deserve--
