After dinner...

Christian:  Thanks for dinner. Everything was delicious.

Twinkle:  Thank you.

Mona:  Yeah... dinner was perfect, really great company.

Twinkle:   How are you doing, Christian? Taking care of your mom?

Christian:  I'm alright... it's hard, but... mom and I are taking care of each other.

Twinkle:  Well, if you ever need anything... Mona and I are here. :) And feel free to come to dinner anytime.

Christian:  I appreciate that.

Twinkle:  Speaking of Blair... I'm going to bring her a piece of chocolate cake, make sure you two grab some before Mark and Shawn eat it all.

Mona:  Will do, mom. [Giggles]

(Twinkle walks to find Blair.)

Christian:  I'm proud of myself and I'm proud of you, too.

Mona:  Why's that?

Christian:  We were both totally acting casual at dinner, no one suspects a thing.

Mona:  Of course not. They're totally oblivious. [Giggles]

Christian:  I'm going to grab us some chocolate cake and then, I have an idea.

Mona:  An idea? Sounds interesting.

Christian:  Oh, it is. A very interesting idea. [Smirks and walks off to get cake]

Meanwhile...

Twinkle:  They were making goo-goo eyes at each other the entire dinner.

Blair:  Can they be any more obvious?! [Giggles]

Twinkle:  They think we have no idea. I don't know how I feel about this, though... Mona's never been interested in anyone before.

Blair:  Are you worried about her getting hurt?

Twinkle:  Of course not. I'm worried about them being right for each other, I don't know what they have going on... but I know they're determined to keep it a secret.

Blair:  I have to admit... that worries me too. Every night I hear him wandering into the kitchen, or watching TV... I think he's having trouble sleeping, which I can relate to. Still, the last thing he needs right now is a broken heart.

Twinkle:  Oh, Blair, I'm so sorry. I hope things get easier in time.

Blair:  Me too. I just hope I did the right thing when I decided to move back here, you see... I was worried that his grief will make him even more rebellious, so I wanted to get Christian away from those hoodlums he hung out with.
