Liam and Sally's trap failed to separate Christian and me, but just as that drama settled... an old mystery resurfaced and triggered an unexpected chain of events.
Shawn: This is crazy, Twinkle!
Twinkle: I know, but what am I supposed to do? I can't leave the house.
Shawn: You can't send Mona on some wild goose chase to the Pacific Northwest looking for Mrs. Lee! I won't stand for it.
Twinkle: But you heard Sonia, Mrs. Lee needs help. And... she's asking for Mona.
Shawn: Look, I love Sonia and I believe in what she does but... what if she's wrong about this? What if we're sending Mona into danger? We have no idea what's going on out there!
Twinkle: I trust Sonia and she assured me everything would be alright.
Shawn: I don't like this, I don't like this at all.
Twinkle: I'm not happy about it either... but what else can we do?
Shawn: Mona may not even want to go. She barley even remembers Mrs. Lee!
Twinkle: We have to ask her and see what she says...
At school...
Christian: Well, that was quite the experience. It's not every day that I find panties in my locker.
Mona: Tell me about it. I'm... super annoyed about the whole thing, I don't want things like that causing us unnecessary trouble.
Christian: Neither do I.
Mona: I just can't wait for Thanksgiving break, it will be nice to get away from school for a while.
Christian: I thought you like school?
Mona: I don't like it, actually. But if I want to be a good vet, I need to get into a good university... I'll gladly work hard for that but I still enjoy my free time. And lately I've been enjoying it more and more. [Giggles]
Christian: How interesting. You're flirting in broad daylight. [Laughs]
Mona: I am not!
Christian: Don't worry, I won't tell a soul. But yes, I can't wait for Thanksgiving break either, I just hope we'll have more time for ourselves.
Mona: I'm down for it, but I hate sneaking out all the time. I wish... there was another way.
Christian: If we talk to our parents... maybe they'll let us hang out alone sometimes, without a chaperone. We might even hold hands in public.
Mona: Christian, come on!
Christian: What? Your parents are nice, but sometimes they act like they're from another century.
Mona: I know. I'll talk to my mom, I mean, I'm almost eighteen. It's time I started making my own decisions about my life.
Christian: I hear that.
