Three days later...
Twinkle: I'm so sorry, Blair. I wish there something I could do.
Max: You and Christian can stay with Curtis, Derek and me... we'll fix the guess room right up for you.
Blair: [Sobbing] Thanks guys. I just... can't believe he's gone. He knew that road so well... but with what happened, it's no wonder he crashed and it was typical of Rolph to put his own safety last.
Twinkle: I know, dear, I know.
Blair: It was such a freak accident.
Twinkle: It was, and I can't imagine how much you're hurting. Rolph was an amazing man and father, it's a terrible tragedy... but we're here for you.
Max: Whatever you need... but you have to try and be strong, for Christian. He needs you now more than ever.
Blair: He's devastated. He and Rolph were polar opposites, but... they were so close. [Crosses arms]
Twinkle: What can we do Blair? How can we help?
Blair: Help me find a house.
Twinkle: What?!
Blair: Christian and I... we're moving back home.
In Mona's room...
Mona: I feel awful. I haven't seen mom this upset since Mrs. Lee disappeared and poor Blair...
Shawn: Your mother is hurting. Rolph was a big help to her when she got pregnant all those years ago. The three of them were very close.
Mona: I know. I just... I wish I could help in some way.
Shawn: You can, sweetheart. You help mom just by being around.
Mona: Thanks. It's going to be weird seeing Christian again too, I haven't seen him in years.
Shawn: Between you and me... that's probably for the best.
Mona: What do you mean? Is he still failing classes?
Shawn: Apparently he's just getting by. The complete opposite of you.
Mona: Oh.
Shawn: Now, I've had my wild years too but that's exactly why I know you should steer clear of him. With that said... the poor kid just lost his father, so when you see him today at the funeral... talk to him a bit, you always make everyone feel better. You're the apple of my eye and you're the light in your mom's life
Mona: Thank you. I will. [Smiles]
Shawn: And I'm going to find your mother, be dressed and downstairs in an hour, okay?
Mona: Got it.
(Shawn walks off.)
I guess I should just change for the funeral now... [Gets dressed] I think I have a few black accessories somewhere in my closet...
(Texting- Mona: What time are you guys leaving?
(Texting- Derek: In about fifteen minutes. Dad wants to get there early.
(Texting- Cheri: Same here. Mom is out back with the dog, but we'll be ready soon. I hate funerals. :(
(Texting- Derek: Ditto.
