Welcome to the most dramatic moment of my life so far. I got drunk at the after party, and when I came back home... my welcoming committee gave me one hell of a welcome.
Shawn: For the first time ever... I can honestly say that I am disappointed in you. Your mother and I trusted you, and you just walked all over us.
Mona: I'm sorry. I didn't see any harm in going to an after party.
Shawn: And getting completely wasted?! I can smell the alcohol on your breath.
Mona: Yes, I had a drink! Did you remain completely sober at parties as a teenager?
Shawn: I didn't, but I also dropped out of high school. The last thing I want for you is to follow in my footsteps.
Mona: That's not fair! I won't drop out of school just because of one little party. Do you think Mark is treating Cheri like this?
Shawn: What Mark and Cheri do is none of my business.
Mona: Yeah, well... I'm done talking about me! I had a bad enough night as it was, I don't need to hear it from you, too!
Shawn: Why are you talking to me this way? I feel like I don't even recognize my own daughter!
Mona: Your daughter is a woman now! That's the problem! [Crosses arms]
(Twinkle comes in.)
Twinkle: Okay, that's enough. Shawn, why don't you go outside and get some air?
Shawn: I'm not in the mood to chit-chat with Christian right now.
Twinkle: Blair just came to get him... please, wait for us outside.
Shawn: ... [Walks out]
Mona: It's so unfair! No wonder I didn't date or do any normal teenage things before this. The second I have a bit of fun look what happens!
Twinkle: Okay, first take a deep breath and please put yourself in your father's shoes. This is the first time you've ever...
Mona: Let go a little bit? That's not an excuse for him to totally embarrass me in front of Christian.
Twinkle: I think you need to talk to your dad about Christian, talk about what's going on--
Mona: He and I don't even know what's going on and I'm not ready to talk about it yet.
Twinkle: But--
Mona: CAN'T ANYONE UNDERSTAND THAT?!
Twinkle: Why don't you get some sleep? We'll talk about this in the morning. There's Advil in the bathroom, and make sure you have some water. [Walks off]
Great, I just yelled at my pregnant mother. I should just go to bed...
The next morning...
Yuck, I need to get out of these clothes... I don't plan on leaving the house today anyway. Which is good, because if anyone saw me in this, they would run away screaming. I guess I really won't be leaving this room today... now let's see...
(Texting- Cheri: I told you to tell them you were sleeping at my house.
(Texting- Mona: I know! I was so drunk that I forgot to call mom.
