Through the monitors, we can hear the roar of the engine as Y/N pulls into the track. I watched his speed through one of the monitors and see that he keeps a steady pace through the first lap. I was trying to record the monitor for Y/N but one of the staff told me the whole thing is being recorded and will be sent to us afterwards so we can just enjoy watching.
"Ok Y/N, you can speed up a little bit to get used to the weight and handling limits of the car." I hear one of the employees say through the speakers.
"Got it." Another roar comes out from the monitors as Y/N speeds up.
I watch the video jerk a little bit every time he changes gears and as he speeds up after every turn, I see his smile get bigger. Looking at the car through the window, it doesn't seem like it's going that fast at all. At the speeds he's going, he's already almost done with the second lap.
"Alright Y/N, at the next straightaway, you can go as fast as you want, but after you pass the yellow sign, please slow down for the next turn. We'll let you enjoy the ride now and only speak up when we need you to adjust the speed for your safety."
"Thanks!" Y/N says excitedly.
When he gets past the next turn, the roar of the engine gets really loud and the video jerks multiple times as Y/N changes gears quickly picking up speed fast. As the car accelerates, I can hear him yell excitedly.
"WHOOOO! HAHAHA!"
Jisoo and Rosie both cry out cheers. I smile cause of how excited he is but when I saw his speed, my smile slowly disappears. He's really pushing the car but when he passes a certain point, we see him slow down and I let out a long sigh. I didn't realize I'd been holding my breath.
Jennie heard me so she came over and locked arms with me and patted my arm.
"How's it look girls?!" Y/N practically yells.
"You're doing great Oppa!" Jisoo yells back.
I try to avoid looking at his speeds and just watch the excitement in his face. Looking out the window, I can tell he's making the turns really well as he gets the hang of it.

After a few minutes, he's already done a couple more laps.
"Ok Y/N, we'll need you to come back to the pit lane when you finish this lap. There will be someone waving you down, just follow their lead."
I feel myself relax when I hear that through the speakers. As much fun Y/N was having, I was a little worried something was going to happen.
When he pulls in and gets out of the car, we see him give people outside high fives and speak to them for a bit before climbing into the next car.
The voice in the speaker pretty much tells him the exact same thing as last time.
"Got it. Just want to add music this time." Y/N says as he fiddles with his phone and connect it. He stares at the camera waiting for the music to start.
