Nominations Are...

Y/N POV

"That soon?" Lisa asked.

"Yeah. With the nominations, I have to do appearances, interviews and photoshoots with the other nominees and for the award show itself. It's going to get crazy. To be honest, I'm not looking forward to it." you tell her, chuckling to try and make light of the situation.

Just thinking about everything Eric listed out is already making you exhausted. You feel Lisa squeeze your hand for comfort and it warms your heart.

She can tell that it's just as disappointing to you as it is for her for you not to be here longer but you both knew you had to go back to work sooner or later. You just hoped for later.

"When will you be able to come back?" she asked meekly.

"Honestly, I'm not sure. We should have a break after the award show before we start press for Irresistible Love, but I don't want to promise anything in case the same thing happens like last time."

She doesn't say anything for a while until you get to the restaurant. You take a glance at her as you park the car. She's looking down at her hands and looks to be thinking a lot about something, presumably everything that happened last time.

You look around and already see Jennie's car, empty, so they probably went inside to get a table.

"Oppa..." You hear Lisa say.

You look at her again and she smiles at you as she grabs her hands.

"I promise you I won't let anyone get between us again. I love you and I know you love me too. If you could, you would be with me every day. I won't let anyone make me forget that." she tells you.

Even though you know it'll be tough and you don't know what the future will bring, her words touch your heart. You give the back of her hand a kiss.

You both make your way inside and find the rest of your group. It's another korean bbq place that reminds you of the one that you first went out to with the girls. As you sit down, Jisoo pours you a shot of soju, making you suppress your gag reflex.

"What? Are you still hungover?" Jisoo asks you when she sees your expression.

"No, it just reminds me of last night." You say and shudder at the thought.

"Well, get over it cause we're celebrating." Jennie says.

"Nick, you want to give a toast?" Rosie asks as she grabs her glass.

Nick clears his throat and raises his glass, with everyone raising theirs too.

"Here's to practically ten years of hard work. From you telling me you were going to try acting to going all the way to the tippy-top of the A-list and being nominated for best actor! Here's to my best source of income, to Y/N!" he cries out.

You shake your head at the last part.

"To Y/N!" The girls all cheer

You clink your glass with everyone then take your shot. The taste reminds you a lot like last night making you cringe a little.

"Your best source of income? Aren't I your ONLY source of income?" you ask Nick and chuckle.

"I got side hustles you don't know about!" he tells you laughing.

"Oppa, Nick told us you guys have to go back in two days?" Rosie asks you.

"Yeah, unfortunately, we have plenty of work to do after the nominations are announced tomorrow." you tell them.
