A Walk in the Park

The morning before your flight was emotional. For you and the girls. You dropped off Lisa at their dorm so you can say bye to them privately. Lisa kept crying, making Rosie cry and Jennie was tearing up because of the other two. Jisoo held it in but you could tell she was forcing herself to be strong, like a good (unofficial) leader. No, like a good Unnie.

"Yah, okay, say your goodbyes. Oppa needs to go or else he'll miss his flight." Jisoo told the girls before coming up to you. "Thank you Oppa for being our friend. Come back soon so I don't have to take care of them by myself."

You nod and chuckle at what she said before giving her a tight hug. "Will do, Chichu."

"I'll miss seeing you a lot, Oppa. Be safe and text us." Rosie said as she hugged you, wiping her tears after she pulls away.

"I'll be back soon." you tell her and she nods.

Jennie comes up to you with a stern face. You can see tears slowly running down her cheek.

"I don't know why everyone's being so emotional. You're coming back anyway." Jennie said. You notice every time she tries to look you in the eye, she quickly looks away.

"I know, right?" you say to her softly. You know she wants to hug you but her pride won't let her, so you pull her in instead.

She's surprised at first then wraps her arms around you and hugs you real tight. You feel her body shake as she starts sobbing. You start stroking the back of head to comfort her.

"I'll miss you too, Mandu." you say to her. She nods a little then pulls away and wipes her tears.

You go over to Lisa, who's being hugged by Jisoo. She notices you walking to Lisa so she nods at you and lets her go.

"How are you still cute when you're crying, love?" You say to Lisa. She shakes her head and suddenly hugs you forcefully that makes you grunt a bit.

"Don't worry, beautiful, I'll always come back to you. No matter what. Will you wait for me?" you ask her.

She wipes her eyes and looks up at you, slowly nodding. "I'll be right here waiting for you."

"Oh! Isn't that a song?" you hear Jisoo say. You try not to smile but your mouth ends up twitching.

Lisa realizes it and buries her face in your chest again. You stare at Jisoo blankly. She gives you an embarrassed look and mouths, 'sorry'.

You pull back a little bit and lift Lisa's head up with your finger.

"It'll be okay. I love you so much Lisa. I love you so much more than the distance between us. It doesn't matter where I am, I'm yours. Only yours." you tell her.

"R-Really?" She stares in your eyes softly

"Yes, my beautiful girl. You may be thousands of miles away but no one is closer to my heart than you."

You hear a faint 'Aww' from Rosie that makes Lisa glance to the side with her eyes then back at you, both of you fighting a smile. You both can't hold it in and end up laughing a little at Rosie.

"I love you too, Y/N."

Lisa gives you a soft kiss and wraps her arms around your neck, pulling you in tight as she nuzzles in the crook of your neck.

You pull away from Lisa and take a look at the girls one more time before heading out for your flight.

LONDON, ENGLAND

Time seems to go by slowly the next couple of weeks. You were on your media tour for The Blitz and while you were in London for a few days, you met with the director, Richard Curtis, for your next movie. The meeting went great and offered you the part right away, unfortunately, it wasn't all good news.
