Y/N POV

You woke up to the sound of your phone vibrating next to you. Taking a look at it, you turn off the alarm and see that it's 7:00 in the morning. You rub your eyes and look on the other side of the bed at a sleeping Lisa.

You stare and sigh, thinking of what you have to do. You carefully get out of bed and put on your clothes for the day. Sneaking around the dorm, you take your luggage and everything you'll need to bring, back to your car then back inside.

You quietly make your way into the kitchen and start making coffee. While waiting for the coffee to brew, you start going through the last two nights over in your head. Instantly, Lisa's voice starts playing in your head.

'Nothing happened'

'He's doing it because he cares about me'

'At least he's here for me'

'At least he's here'

You squeeze your eyes shut to stop her voice. Those words that have been haunting you the past two days. Then images of R.Tee holding Lisa's jacket and smirking at you, fill your mind. You also remember looking for Lisa at the party, only to see his hands wrapped around her and her hands at his chest. You remember your heart breaking at how close their faces were together.

While you were at the park two nights ago, you were thinking about your relationship. Deciding on what to do. Balancing the good and bad.

You thought about how the two of you were while you were apart. The jealousy and the harshness of both your words towards each other when you fought. You had almost wanted to break up with her that night but the thought of her heartbroken on her birthday was too much for you to bear. You still loved her after all.

You loved her so much that it hurts to hear about her in pain when you're not here. Or when she watches you leave when you do visit. You wanted to give her the best birthday before you broke it off. So you started pretending nothing happened.

Spending the day with her at the park, the restaurant, the bowling alley, being with her at all those places made you rethink your decision the night before. You were so happy being with her. You remembered what it was like to be with her. The love and joy of having her at your side. The future that you saw together with her.

Maybe you could just wait until after the movie ended filming and spend a lot more time here. Take a break from making movies. Even though it was something you loved, you loved Lisa more.

Then you saw her with him... and your decision was made for you.

Even if you were here, he would still be around her. He works with her at the same company. You can't always be with her, every hour of every day, to prevent that. Part of you believes in Lisa that she would never hurt you, but your past experience suggests otherwise. You can't be sure it won't ever happen again.

You never wanted to be the person that tells someone they love who they can and can't hang out with. You also don't want to keep hurting her even if you continue working. Making her watch you leave over and over again, chipping at her heart piece by piece.

You don't want that for Lisa.

She deserves more than that.

She deserves more than you.

You're sitting on a chair in Lisa's room while you watch her sleeping in your Wu-tang Clan sweater that you gave her. She looked so damn beautiful. Even now, you're still gathering the courage to do what you have to do.
