"I am the Mayor of this fair town. The town of Freezington." The Mayor said.
"Freezington?" Ash asked.
Speaking of which, it was a lot colder compared to a normal house.
Ash then looked outside, and saw the thick layers of snow, piling the whole area.
"Is the town normally surrounded by snow 24.7?" Ash asked, in which the mayor nodded.
Ash was shocked by that response, "If that's the case, then how does this town have the necessary food?"
Ash normally doesn't ask this question, but he couldn't help but ask. Due to the snow, getting resources would take a long time. Furthermore, the snow would make trading with other towns very difficult.
The mayor sighed, "Its just as you are thinking. The food and resources in this town are scarce. It is difficult to support our day to day lives."
Ash, seeing the sad face of the mayor, was about to apologize for the unnecessary question. But before he can...

Ash took a few steps out of his bed, then nodded.
"Well then, why don't you come outside with me?" The Mayor then walked out of the door.
Ash and Pikachu looked at each other, before following the Mayor.
As soon as Ash and Pikachu walked out, they both shivered at the sudden change in temperature. It was even cold inside the house, but it was 10 times worse outside.
"Brrrr..." "Pi-i-i-i-k-k-k-ka-a-a-a..." The two shivered in unison.
The Mayor made a light chuckle, before asking. "Are you kids okay?"
The two nodded, "Yea, I faced this kind of cold many times before. It's just the sudden temperature change that got me."
Pikachu nodded along with Ash.
The Mayor nodded, "Very well. Follow me then."
The Mayor walked towards the snow, with Ash and Pikachu following right behind.
After about walking for 5 minutes or so, they arrived in front of a statue.
