"Yeah just hang it there," I told the mover. I was currently trying to help Magnus decorate as he was off on the phone somewhere else.

We had spent most of the night planning this entire thing after he sent invites. It was in the theme of Spain- thanks to the Lightwoods sharing with us how Robert proposed to Maryse in Barcelona.

He finally waltzed in. "Oh no. B, you forget we have magical powers." He shooed away the obviously spelled movers. Once they had brought everything in, they left. Magnus and I then started. Purple magic flowed throughout the apartment, coming from me and Magnus- although his magic was more of an indigo blue.

We moved everything into place, moving certain furniture out of the way and cleaning up while we did so. For a man who has cats, though, his place was surprisingly cat-hair free, mostly.

When we finished, we finalized the drink and food options.

"It's a later event so an actual meal and such won't be necessary. We should do slightly larger appetizers and hors d'oeuvres. Something light and nice but also something to go with the theme, of course." I stated. Magnus nodded along before writing it down so he could inform the cook.

"Okay, I think that's it. Now, it's getting closer to the time. Why don't you head out and get ready? I'll finish up and also get ready. The caterer should be here soon." He told me, smiling widely.

"Sounds good. If you need me, call. I'm only a jump away." I winked before creating a portal against his window and passing through to my room at the Institute.

I headed over to the closet, grabbing a dress I had gotten earlier, and paired it with some heels. The black dress had a tulle see-through part on the midsection of my torso before sectioning into some fabric with white polka dots and cutting back to a tulle see-through section after it hit a couple of inches down my thigh. The tulle also had some lace on it, adding a little class and grace. It was spaghetti strap and ended at my knees.

The shoes were similar, with strong standing tulled pieces along the sides of my feet and a bow at the front, tying them together.

Lastly, I grabbed my honey bee necklace- in reference to my nickname 'B'- a bracelet that connected to one of my fingers, and some droopy earrings.

A memory struck me, reminding me of the first time we had all went to a party together. Isabelle had told me that Alec always needed help with things like this.

I quickly grabbed my stele, hiding it in a special sleeve I made that wrapped around my thigh, in case I needed it. It also held my knives. You could never be too careful.

With the bottom tulle part of my dress, it was harder to conceal but I didn't mind. Izzy always had her snake, so I might as well too.

I made my way out of the room and walked towards Alec's.
