The three of us walked carefully around the side of a building. Our demon vision seeming to work as we found a girl, around Clary's age, hovering beside a dumpster.
"What happened? Who are you?" She stuttered, shaking in fear. Clary looked at the girl while Alec and I checked out our surroundings.
"It's okay, we're here to help." The red-head told her. I finally took in the girls features. Brown hair, decent clothes except for the part where they are covered in blood.
"It's a classic possession hangover," Alec started. "Once the demon leaves the body, they have no memory of what they did." She panicked more.
"Is this my blood?" She started to hyperventilate, but Clary crouched down, soothing the girl and easing her fears. I looked to Alec and he leaned over to me. His hand placed itself on my lower back and he leaned down.
"You okay?" He whispered, not wanting to break the girls attention from Clary.
"Something feels wrong. I don't know what it is." My powers were on a frenzy inside of me as chills ran down my spine.
He nodded at me, "Me too. Let's deal with her and get back to the institute," I smiled before helping Clary finished with the girl before we all made it back.

Alarms were blaring through the building, and there was no sign of immediate danger, but I could feel something off. "Oh my god, Weilki." Clary stated as we all ran inside. Izzy had met us at the front doors. We looked around, noting everyone's confusion. "Classic possession hangover..." She trailed off, looking at Alec and I.
"A hole punched right into his chest." Lydia walked up. I hadn't fully seen her since I got back and I was hoping she still wasn't mad at me for stealing her fiance. I mean, it's not like they loved each other, right?
"Just like our mundane in the morgue." The raven-haired sister spoke, breaking me out of my thoughts and I switched the weight from one foot to another in nerves as Alec walked over to the body.
"The demon's in the institute."
We all started walking again, towards the Ops center and Lydia continued. "Activate emergency surveillance. Victor's unreachable."
"Of course he is." I rolled my eyes while my three friends smirked at my statement.
"I've ordered the Insitute be put on quarantine until we kill this thing." We continued until we were where all the weapons are kept. They conversed on how the demon got in and I just took in information. I wasn't very educated on how demons could work their way into an angel building, so listening was the next best thing. I wrapped a belt with more throwing knives attached to my waist. I also grabbed the back holster with the two blade in their and strapped it on.
I couldn't help but also be fascinated by the shiny metal. Who cleaned these? Because I haven't cleaned any on my own so I know someone was doing it.
