Chapter 2

Scott POV

To say we were all still surprised when Thomas showed up was an understatement but to know that Stiles was living with the constant fear of W.I.C.K.E.D returning while helping to bring Thomas back while also planning his own rescue was making me feel so upset that he didn't speak to me about this.

After Thomas had finished explaining everything I was surprised at how simple he had said about coming home and living happily ever after as I knew that it wouldn't be as simple as he had said. I was broken out of my thoughts when my Dad and Sheriff spoke at the same time.

"Yeah I have one question, what's this full proof plan?" they enquire towards Thomas as I know they both have such a deep bond with Stiles as I have.

"So Minho, Gally, Scott and Lydia are going to hand themselves over to W.I.C.K.E.D to be placed into the Maze trial with Stiles who should be already sorting out the escape route for once we meet up with him. Myself, Rafael, Peter, Derek and Sheriff will be tasked with infiltrating W.I.C.K.E.D from the inside as security guards or researchers. Aris, Vince and Frypan you will be our outside eyes and ears, Brenda and Jorge your in charge of the escape jet that we nicked last time and Deaton you will be on the jet with you both with medical gear prepared as we know Stiles is already wounded so may need urgent attention." Thomas explains while handing out the bags that had been laid out on the tables as he assigned the tasks to those present in the room.

"Once we are stationed at our assigned areas we await for Maze team to meet up with Stiles and start to the escape from the Maze sending a signal through to advise when this has happened."

"Security team, once we receive the signal from Stiles we will begin to cause diversions and taking out as many as we can before meeting up with the Maze team. Outside team you will be in charge of signalling the jet and helping to remove any security from our exit route which is marked on your plans in your pack. Once we are out, we will then radio for the jet to arrive and get the hell out of there." He finishes explaining and I can see many ways this could go wrong but the thought that Stiles was already in there hands and had started on his side of the plan made me not question these holes.

I notice that Thomas was going around to each person and unlocking the two fingerprint lock on each bag so the assigned person could see what was inside.

Once he opened mine, I noticed there was very little inside which surprised me. Inside I found a plain white long sleeve top, cargo pants, running boots and an envelope with my name on it, I looked towards Lydia, Gally and Minho and noticed they all had the same inside with the only difference between each was a red top for Lydia, grey top for Minho and a brown top for Gally.

I carefully pull out the envelope with my name on and turned it over with the familiar scent of Stiles filling my nose as I breathe deeply opening it up.

Be careful, everything is about to change

Stiles

I was confused by Stiles's note, why would he say that everything was about to change like he knew something we didn't.

I needed to talk to the pack and Thomas separately so I quickly nudge Lydia and show her the note that Stiles had left me as she showed me the same identical note.

"Thomas, can I have a word with you and the pack outside please, there is something we need to speak to you about in private." I say which gave me confused looks from the pack and Thomas.

"Yeah sure but lets make it quick, we need to move out in the next two hours." He states following us outside with the pack, Dad, Deaton and Sheriff.

Once we were further enough away I stopped and they all gathered in a circle waiting for me too speak.

"Me and Lydia received a note from Stiles in our packs advising us that everything was about to change." I advise showing the note to everyone.

"Why would Stiles feel the need to repeat them words, especially now and to a person chosen for the Maze?" Thomas asks sounding hurt.

"Why, what do these words mean to you?" Lydia asks reaching out an arm to comfort Thomas.

"This was the last thing that Teresa said to us before our memory was wiped and I was sent into the Maze." Thomas explains as I noticed the tears threatening to spill down his face.

We headed back inside to prepare for what is about to happen over the next few days, as we got back in I got changed into the outfit that Stiles had prepared for us and went back to join the others.

"So this next part is not going to be very fun for the Maze team, the next thing you will all see is waking up in a metal box heading towards where Stiles is located if all goes to plan." Thomas explains before handing us each a tablet to take.

"What's this?" I enquire unsure whether what this would actually work on me.

"That has been specially designed and created by myself, Thomas and Stiles, it will knock you out and allow you to keep your memories while W.I.C.K.E.D place you in the Maze." Deaton explains.

"Well see you on the other side, Stiles this is for you." I say and swallow the tablet along with the others before dropping to the ground as the room grew darker.

Stiles POV

I have just arrived back into the Glade after running the Maze for what felt like the twentieth time since I had arrived here when I hear the familiar sound of the box coming up. Excitement runs through me as I jog over to it knowing if my plan had worked who would be inside it once it stops.

As it jitters to a stop I open up the grate covering the lift entrance and look inside and spot the familiar faces inside looking up at me, them all looking like they had all just had a rough night at the club.

"Day one Greenies, rise and shine." I laugh when I see Minho, Gally, Lydia and Scott all waiting inside the box.
