Chapter 28

A/N - Finally the rest of Stydia Wedding - pre warning long chapter incoming along with a GIF!

Lydia POV

Well I can definitely say this is definitely a wedding that no one was going to forget for a long time, well let's think why shall we?

Well first the groom arrives via helicopter after the brides arrival, he and his groomsman then are arrested for Murder and Treason and now we are continuing the wedding several hours later but this time with a heavy police presence as the groom is still under arrest. Oh lets not forget the fact that the Groom and Groomsman both now suddenly look they have been tortured as several bruises and wounds are visible.

As we arrive back at the Safe Haven the sun was starting to set and in some way it seemed more romantic then it had been earlier in the day minus the new wounds Stiles had been hiding from me earlier. I understand why he didn't tell me and try to hide it but I am going to be his Wife so I need to know the bad stuff that happens with him as well as the good stuff.

"Thank you everyone for gathering once again, now as we had Stiles vows before our slight interruption so lets now get Lydia's vows." Vince advises as soon as we had all gather together and I felt everyone's eyes move from Thomas and Stiles to me.

"Stiles, compared to most we have not had the most straight forward relationship. I don't think I even properly realised that you existed until Alison took us on that double date with her and Scott and since that moment you have been a constant figure in my life through all the ups and down." I start reading my notes as I can feel tears forming in my eyes as I read.

"From that moment on you have saved my life more time then I can count, you have been there for me as both a friend then eventually as the love of my life. You believed in me even at a time I didn't believe in myself, due to you I have the career I could have only dreamt about, I have truly found the meaning of true love and have found the man of my dreams. People ask me when was the first time I realised that I was falling in love with you and I used to not be able to answer that until you were taken by the Ghost Riders, I realised it was the first time we ever kissed in the locker room when you were having a panic attack."

"From that moment on everything changed for the better, you became my friend and lover and I am excited for you to now become my Husband from this day forward until the end of time. I love you so much." I finish off before accepting the ring from Malia and sliding it on Stiles's finger.

"Now it is my greatest honour to pronounce you Husband and Wife, Stiles you may now finally kiss the Bride." Vince states and Stiles pulls me into his arms before placing a kiss on me as I hear everyone start to clap and cheer.

When we pull apart I can't help but smile widely as we walk hand in hand up the aisle, I have in some way forgotten about all the drama earlier and couldn't wait to have some time with my husband. As we were walking I notice that Stiles has walked us the short distance to where the helicopter is still stood from his and Thomas's arrival earlier in the day.

"I am sorry this has not been the dream day that you had planned or that you are not going to be able to have the dream honeymoon you have been dreaming about." Stiles states looking at me sadly as he turns towards me but didn't want to see look at my face.

"I don't care about any of that, the only thing that really matters to me is that we are Husband and Wife, no one and nothing can take that away from us. I know what you need to do right now and it's okay I understand why you have to do this." I state pulling his head up to look into my eyes before gently rubbing my thumb over his check trying memorise every part of his face and the location of each mole.
