Welcome to the Final Chapter - oh what a journey we have been on - thank you again everyone for all the patience while I edited and reloaded this story - pre warning it is a long one - enjoy!!

Lydia POV continued

As I open the envelope I can't stop my hands from shaking as nerves rattle through me as to what I am going to read in side, more so after hearing what Thomas can remember about their time away.

I open the letter which seems several pages long before I take a deep breath and begin to read the letter aloud to the room.

(Letter is going to be in Stiles's POV – any questions asked by the group listening will be answered from Lydia's POV – I hope this makes sense)

'Lydia and anyone else that has gathered to hear this letter,

I can't believe I am having to writing this letter, I suppose it gives me something to do well sat in a Hospital room waiting for Thomas to wake up. I just hope I can get him home to Abigail and to be able to marry you before I have to leave again.

By the fact that you are reading this letter, I guess I did managed to get us back but I hope we have managed to get married with hopefully not too many interruptions and as I know what I am like. Oh before I carry on, just in case I forget to say it on the day, you looked breath taking in your dress.

I hope this letter may answer any questions you may have about what is happening currently and what happened to me and Thomas during our not so straight forward mission? I can't advise everything in case this falls into the wrong hands but I hope Thomas can fill in the missing details.

So lets start at the begin, this all started about three weeks before the wedding when me and Thomas received an assignment with the note attached saying it would take a week maximum as they knew I had a previous engagement coming up.

I found it strange at first that the mission was coming via a phone call instead of Raf but decided to brush it off as when we called through for the briefing I was greeted with a voice I recognised but couldn't put a name too. Everything he gave me sounded like a normal assignment breakdown and advised it would be a good training opportunity for Thomas, which it sounded as though it was.

About three days into the assignment, they received word that the Suspects identity had been found and the location he was currently so they were preparing a strike to take him down and would appreciate if me and Thomas would accompany them. I ran through the plan with them before we left and I was quite happy with what had been planned and offered for me and Thomas to take the boundary in case the suspect escaped.

The officers breached first and managed to rescue three hostages from inside the house but the suspect as predicted escaped so me and Thomas decided to chase after him not wanting him to get away, I suggested to split up to try and cover more ground as we were going through thick woodland which was hard to see far in front of you. I managed to catch up with the suspect, as I slowly approached his location I shouted for him to stop and surrender as he had no where to go hoping Thomas was close enough to hear me shout.

He turned to face me and standing in front of me was Janson, I couldn't believe my eyes as I thought him and Ava were dead following the explosion at the second base of operations. Before I could think or ask anymore questions he shot a taser into my chest knocking me out. I woke up in a dark room with a rope tied tightly around my neck with my hand and feet bound behind me, Thomas was directly in front of me in the same position but he was knocked out still.'

"No that can't be true, if it was Janson then I would have known." Thomas interrupts me looking confused and angry at the identity of the person that had tortured him and Stiles.
