Welcome to Chapter 9 - thank you everyone for the votes and reads on this crossover - so this chapter was not involved in the original upload of this story but I felt like it needed adding as added some relevance to later chapters/books - pre warning this is pretty long with GIFS involved - enjoy!!!
(A/N Going to stay in Scott POV unless I state otherwise, saves the random POV at the top with no actual change)
The next day I decide to head back to the hospital to check to see how Stiles is doing, what Mum had said last night was still playing heavily on my mind. Maybe this was the final straw, did losing Thomas in such a way mean I now have lost Stiles?
No, I can't think of it that way he's going to be fine. He managed to survive nearly his entire life before he even found Thomas, its just going to take some time for him to adjust getting back to life again without him. I am sure by time the next Supernatural creature comes he will be back to his normal self.
As I entrance the main entrance I notice Mum, Dad and Sheriff all gathered deep in conversation, just by walking through the doors I could sense the worry coming off them all. I tried not to focus on the conversation they were having but sometimes having Supernatural hearing is a blessing and a curse.
"What do you mean nothing more is wrong with him? Melissa, you have seen the way he is speaking." Sheriff snaps at Mum sounding quite stressed as I try to hide the fact I am listening by reading the notice board.
"Noah, we have done every test and scan possible and they have all come back clear. The only explanation is a mental.." Mum advises before Sheriff holds his hand up stopping her from finishing the sentence.
"Noah, I know you are scared but it's not the same as what you went through with your wife. Its most likely PTSD or maybe even this is the coping mechanism that his brain has created to handle what he has been through." Dad tries this time but Sheriff just keeps shaking his head as though not wanting to listen anymore to what they are saying.
"Raf, you and I both know that they won't let him back if he is like this, what's he going to do for work? How is he going to handle losing both Thomas and his job?" Sheriff states his hands running through his hair.
"You know I would never let that happen, his job will always be ready for him when he is ready to return. But I think we need to pause this conversation as Scott has been waiting and listening quite patiently and not so discreetly." Dad states making all the adults look towards me as I try and look busy but know I fail to do so.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to. I would just blame Supernatural hearing but it looked important and besides when do the three of you talk casually without it been important." I state walking over to meet them as no point hiding myself anymore.
"It's okay Scott, this is something really we can hide from you or the pack. Stiles is awake but he's not quite himself shall we say." Sheriff advises tapping my arm as he speaks.
"What do you mean, not quite himself? What is Thomas back in his head some how?" I enquire curious whether this could of happened as I have been wondering this since Thomas died.
"No, its something more than that. Stiles is not making any sense when he is talking, he seems to recognise who everyone is but no one can get a straight answer from him." Dad advises and I feel my heart break slightly that I may have lost him after all, not physically but mentally.
"Can I see him please?" I ask trying to hide the emotions I am feeling from this news as Mum nods her head before leading me to Stiles room.
As I enter the room I try to prepare myself for what I might find, I spot Stiles sitting on the bed edge of the bed pulling his face as though he has forgotten something important or is trying to remember something important.
