WEREWOLF CODE OF CONDUCT

Chapter nine

I woke up early that morning. The sun was shining through the hospital window just missing my face. I smiled at the light.

I was feeling much better today. No nightmares no nothing, just peace.

I sat up and grabbed the glass of water from the side table. I took a sip and then placed it back on the table.

"Good morning Serena. How are you feeling?" Madame Pomfery asked.

"Much better" I answered

"Wonderful. You can leave if you want. Breakfast will be starting in 10 minutes so you'll have time to get ready" She stated.

"Alright. Thank you" I spoke.

"You're welcome" She said.

I stepped out the bed and gained my balance. I was wearing my black joggers and green cropped top still so I really needed to change.

I walked out the Hospital wing and luckily the corridors were mostly empty so nobody saw how dreadful I looked.

I got to the common room door and told the portrait the password and the door swung open.

Sitting alone on the sofas was Noah. When the portrait shut his head turned and his eyes widened when he saw me.

"Serena!" He yelled.

He jumped up from the sofa and ran towards me. He engulfed me into a hug and I wrapped my arms around his muscular body. He was definitely bigger than me, he always had been. Quidditch players are.

"Are you ok?" He asked. Still squeezing me tight.

"I'm fine" I assured him.

"Good. I missed you" He said.

"Really?" I laughed.

"Yes. Even though sometimes you get on my nerves"

"Rude" I punch him in the arm. He just laughed at my stupid attempt to hurt him.

"You really need to get better at punching" He said.

"I'm sorry Mr I work out every day" I joke.

"I'm better than you" He mumbled.

"You will never be better than me" I tell him.

"We'll see about that" He spoke.

"I need to get ready I'll see you later" I leave his hold and walk up to the dorm.

I open the door and to my surprise Nat and Mae are both still asleep.

"Wake up sleepy heads!" I shout to wake them up. This is the best way to annoy then.

When I hear them groan I just laugh and walk over to my dresser.

"Someones feeling better" Nat said.

"Much" I reply.

I get out my uniform and walk over to the bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror and grab the hairbrush straight away. I brush out my knots and my hair finally looks presentable.

I splash my face with water and then wipe it with the towel hanging on the wall. I change into my uniform and brush my teeth.

I brush my uniform down and put a pair of earring in and then walk back out the bathroom.

"Much better" I say.

Nat was still in bed and Mae was grabbing her uniform to change into.

"Come on Nat" i called.

"One more minute" She mumbled.

"Natalia Harper Reed you get out of that bed right now. I'm very hungry!" I yell.

She sits up and raises her hands in the air.

"Sorry Auror Serena" She apologised.

"You should be" I laugh.

She gets up and gets changed.

After they're both ready we walk out and go to the Great hall.

When I walk in a lot of peoples heads turn to me. People start to whisper but I ignore it.

We all walk over to the Slytherin table and sit down at the end.

"Look who's back. The blood traitor" Pansy barked.

"Just ignore her Rena" Mae whispered.

"Got nothing to say?" She asked.

"Oh I do but I won't waste my words on people like you" I smile.

She huffed and turns back to Theo. He wasn't listening to what she had to say because he was to busy staring me down.

I turn away and focus on the food in front of me.

I take an apple out of the bowl and a slice of toast out the rack and spread butter all over it. I cut up the apple and place it on the side of my plate.

I take a bite out of the toast and then eat a slice of apple.

We had a free period so we all decided to do some catch up on the work I'd missed in class.

Mae explained what I missed in Care of Magical Creatures, Potions, Astronomy and DADA. Then Nat explained what I'd missed in Transfiguration, Charms and History of Magic.

I really hadn't missed much apart from a few essays we would have to do but I would be able to get out of them because I wasn't in the lesson.

My first class was History of Magic with Nat, Mae had Charms first instead.

We walked to the classroom and sat down at a table ready for the class to begin.

"Ah lovely to see you again Miss Ford" Professor Binns said.

"Thank you sir"

"I will be explain your assignments in this lesson" He explained.

I'm not getting out of this one then.

"So students. I will be picking partners and one person in that pair will pick out a topic for you to do an essay on alright" He said cheerfully.

Everyone in the class groaned. I swear all teachers set partners just to torture us.

"Right when I call your name I would like you to move next to your partner I don't mind who moves as long as you're sitting together." He explained.

He begins to wave his wand over the board and names begin to appear next to each other.

"Reed and Zabini, Greengrass and Patil, Granger and Longbottom, Weasley and Parkinson, Potter and Nott, Malfoy and Ford" He called.

Malfoy, of course.

I stood up from the table as I knew Malfoy wasn't going to move so I did it before he moaned. I grabbed my books and walked over to his desk.

I pulled the chair out and sat down in it. Malfoy just stayed silent and played with his rings on his fingers. He had a habit of doing that.

"Miss Ford pick a topic" He put and bowl in front of me and I put my hand in. I grabbed a piece of parchment out and he floated away.

I unfolded the parchment and written in the middle was Werewolf Code of Conduct easy we learned about that in third year.

Malfoy looked over at the parchment in my hand and huffed.

"What's your problem?" I ask.

"I don't have a problem" He snapped.

"Alright" I mumbled

"I want this handed in on our next lesson which is Tuesday" Professor Binns announced.
