Chapter fifty
Snape! God the things I'd do to kill the man. He's all groan and tone. What does he even do for the school? They could of put anyone in the position of headmaster but they chose Snape like come on Mouldy what you doing? He's never here anyway.
We're two weeks in and I'm wishing I hadn't come back.
First, Draco and I have to sneak around but it's getting harder and harder with the Carrows on the prowl for anyone to torture. There have been multiple times I've walked down the corridors from dinner and they're students leaning against the wall for support after coming out of their punishments. I've only had one punishment which was a few seconds under the Cruciatus curse after disobeying sister Carrows order, it was stopped by McGonagall, which was surprising but not unappreciated. She saved me really.
Second, neither me or Mae haven't gotten round to start a conversation with Nat, she isn't around much. When we've asked Pansy she said she's up in the dorm. She's locking herself away. The other day I heard Millicent say that she saw Nat crying in her sleep a few nights ago but I didnt want to believe it. All Mae and I want to do is help. I've asked Draco about it but he said nothing just stopped the conversation with more kisses, which I didn't mind really but I wanted to know what was going on with her.
"That's it! Remember Muggles are nothing but dirt under our shoes that should be flicked away at first sight and terminated" Sister Carrow yelled over the sound of chairs and speaking. She said this after every lesson of Muggle Studies, this lesson was no longer my favourite but now hated subject.
Before the Carrows came in we'd learn about their way of living and to be honest they weren't that different to us, just with no magic or magical beings. We are really alike. But now we learn out their filth and their blood, muggle borns are a supposed abomination to this world and do not belong here. How could someone ever think that? Look at Hermione for example, brightest witch of our age, there isn't any spell Hermione can't do. I just wish they could get that into their thick pureblood brains, as well as Voldemort, he's a Halfblood for fuck sake.
"Miss Ford! Wait there" Carrow said as I got to the door.
Mae widened her eyes and stared at me I mouthed 'Ill be fine and wait outside'. She nodded quickly and walked out the class room, leaving me alone with the Carrow.
"Sit" She demanded.
I followed her instructions and then spoke "Can I ask why I'm here?"
"You're here because it has come to my attention that you are not exactly who you say you are" She says slyly.
Everyone knew that and she's only just found out, how thick are these people?
"Okay" I mumble.
"You think you deserve a punishment for your betrayal, you could of come with us and you would be forgiven but you go to your father, Remus Lupin" She talks.
"I would've been killed as soon as he saw me" I hiss.
"You do not talk to a teacher like that! Crucio!" She exclaimed.
It was just like knives, piercing every inch of my skin. I fell off the chair in an instant from the pain of the spell and she kept her wand straight on my body, laughing at my pain. It felt like I was being ripped apart by dogs over and over again. I yelled and screamed at her to stop wanting to give in but she laughed more and put more power into the magic torturing me.
I began to lose my bearings and my head felt dizzy. My eyes wondered across the room quickly before my eyes began to close and the black outline was prominent. I heard the door of the class open and close with a loud bang and a shout before it all became dark, just like before.
