"What was all that about? Draco asking to talk to you that's not normal" Mae said as I sat back down.
"It was nothing he just-" I stuttered slightly trying to come up with a good enough lie.
"He kissed you!" She exclaimed.
I quickly put my hand over her mouth and shushed her before she bursted out laughing.
"He did!" She said again.
"Mae shush" I tell her and she try's to calm down.
"I can't believe this. I could see the tension between you two last year when you came back but I didn't actually think you too were together. Why did you tell me?" She asked.
"I guess we didn't want it being a big deal, and him being a Death Eater and everything and my parents in the order, it was dangerous for anyone else to know, especially because I was with Harry a lot. People wouldn't look at me the same, not that I'm embarrassed of Draco but it would put both of us in serious danger" I explain.
"You know I would've kept your secret no matter what, even if it's Draco Malfoy" She tells me.
"Thank you Mae" I smile pulling her into a tight hug. "Now we need to find out what's going on with Natalia Reed" I say and Mae nods her head.

After Snape gave a not so cheerful speech we all walked out in orderly fashion, Slytherin going first followed by Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Gryffindors were pulled back for Merlin knows what. Probably Snape giving him a hard time and another threatening speech.
After the incident in the train I realised Harry nor Ron and Hermione had returned. They hadn't been seen since the disaster at the Weasleys wedding. Dad had told me they were going to be fine, after all Harry is the chosen one and has survive death, he can't be killed that easily.
Mae and I walked behind the group of Slytherins hoping the new twins would spot us smiling as from what I've seen they'd probably kill anyone that seems to be having the slightest bit of fun.
We both entered the silent common room and walked straight up to the girls dorms to see if we were sharing with Nat so we'd at least get to speak with her as we didn't get a chance at dinner. Nat hadn't even looked at us through the feast. She was sat with Pansy, Goyle and Crabbe. Blaise and Draco had decided to sit with Mae and I, which was nice.
Mae nudged me through the whole thing whispering things about Draco in my ear non stop. It did make me laugh slightly, it was nice to know I had his full attention.
"Dang it!" Mae exclaimed as I pulled myself out of my thoughts.
"What?" I asked.
"Nat's in a room with Pansy and Millicent" She said. "She always been in a room with us. What in the Salazar name is going on. First she stops writing, then she doesn't talk to us on the train or at dinner and now she's in a different room. What's going on?" She questioned.
"I have no idea" I tell her as I hear someone cough behind me.
"Everything ok girls?" Pansy smiled sickly.
"Fine" I scoffed as I look at Nat standing there expressionless.
Pansy wakes over to the sheet of paper on the wall and smiled when she saw hers and Nats name next to each other.
"Looks like you're with me how exciting" Pansy shrieked and grabbed Nat's arm and pulled her away to their room.
I let out an annoyed groan as soon as they left. Nat didn't look at us once. She eyes were stuck on Pansy and then let her drag her away. Somethings not right and Mae and I are going to find out what.
I'm not giving up on a friend that easily.

I'm so sorry that I haven't had a chapter up in a while I've been busy with school at the moment and have taken a week off from writing to catch up but I'm hoping to get one out in the next few days. X
