Chapter forty seven
"Hurry up Serena you'll be late" Tonks called from the bottom of the stairs.
"I'll be there in a second!" I replied.
I was trying to stuff in all my books that I have decided to read in 7th year. I know I have exams but I need to read these all before the end of the year who knows what will happen after 7th year and I might not have any time to read, especially if a wars coming.
"Serena what are you doing" A voice said from my door.
I turned around to see Remus glaring at my trunk and then at me jumping on it to close.
"Have you thought about putting them in another bag?" He wondered.
Of course I have but the stupid bag wouldn't fit them all in.
I nodded at my stupidity.
"Have this" He said as he pulled out a beautiful emerald green velvet purse with silver drawstrings to open it. He placed it into my hands as I looked at it.
"Thank you" I smiled. "But how will I fit my books in this?" I asked.
"Well...there's an extension charm on it so you can put everything in there you need" He explained.
"Thanks dad" I mumbled. This was the first time saying dad and I definitely think he's earned it.
"Did I just get my first dad" He said taken back by my words.
"Yes you did" I laughed.
"Right hurry up because the train won't wait for you" He told me as he left me alone in my room.
I quickly stuffed the books into my new bag and then dragged my truck downstairs.
"Ready?" Tonks asked.
"Yep. Seventh year here I come" I said as Tonks grabbed mine and Remus' hand.
In a second I was on the floor of a dark stone alley. I looked up to see Remus and Tonks standing above me laughing a bit.
"Some warning next time Tonks" I moaned as Remus held his hand out for me.
We all walked into the station keeping clear of the odd muggle here and there until we got to the wall. I went first and then followed by Remus and Tonks.
"It feels nice to be back here" Tonks hummed looking around the platform.
I raised my head and peered over the parents and students. Most of them were begging their parents to take them home whilst the parents were pushing them onto the train. The first years frowning at what was supposed to be the happiest day of their life. My eyes saddened at the sight this wasn't Hogwarts spirit.
I turned back to Tonks and Remus and hugged them both saying goodbye to them and the baby.
"See you soon" I said.
"I love you stay safe" Dad called as I walked away.
"I will" I shouted back at him.
I walked on through the crowds of people and tried to look for 2 certain girls who happen to be my best friends. First I could glimpse of her bright blonde hair and her black and white checkered trunk in her hand.
I rushed over to her and tapped her on the shoulder so turned around in fright but then she wrapped her arms around me.
"Serena! Merlin am I glad to see you, everyone else here is acting like it's the end of the world, I'm like yeah no more listening to ABBA every day but school isn't that bad. Is it?" She said.
"No Mae it's not. Have you seen Nat anywhere?" I wondered.
"No. She's probably on the train then we can have our summer catch up" She told me.
"Yeah let's go then" I said.
We got on the train and walked down the carriages. Nat was no where to be seen so we both sat in our normal booth at the end of the train.
The train began to move and Nat still wasn't here I wondered if she got lost. But how it's a train how do you get lost on a train we've been on many times before?
"Rena chill she'll be here don't worry" Mae said taking my hand and squeezing it gently.
I peered down the carriage and saw nothing, I was about to turn back to Mae when I saw him. The boy I've been missing for months. The boy I've been crying over every time I think about him. The boy I want to be with.
I watched him throw his bag on the shelf above his booth with Pansy, Blaise and.....no way.
Nat?
