presents and semester's end

    Andi came home, a week later, to a pile of packages sitting on her bed. She was tired as hell, but she really wanted to see what her friends had gotten her. First, she opened Spot's. He got her two new cropped cardigans. Next was Romeo's. His present to her was similar to Spot's to Katherine, a small shoulder bag. But Romeo's was blush pink.

"cute." Andi remarked and wore it to see how it looked on her.

Next, she opened Elmer's, and he got her a lot. Everything was in a big box and there were little boxes inside of the big box. Out of the first box, she pulled out skin care products and makeup. Safe to say, she got really excited.

She then opened the second box. Inside it were two pairs of sweatpants. Inside the next were a couple of cute tops from multiple stores, one of them being Brandy Melville. Andi smiled, knowing that Elmer actually went into that store. He refused to go into there after a worker was mean to Andi when they were fourteen.

Finally, she got to the last box which was filled with her favourite candy and chocolate. Andi smiled and called Elmer on facetime from her laptop. It was late at night where she was, so she knew Elmer would answer.

"Andi, you're back in London!"

"yeah um, I actually got here this afternoon but I spent hours opening your present." Andi replied sarcastically and laughed, in which she saw Elmer roll his eyes. "you really went all out, huh?" She asked with a smile.

"only for you." With that, Andi blushed. "aaand Racer, Albert and Finch I kind of went all out for their presents too."

Andi nodded. "of course you did." She laughed.

Elmer loves putting a lot of effort for his best friends' presents. He gets really excited when he has good ideas and Andi loved seeing him like that. Unfortunately, she didn't get to see him get excited while shopping for presents this year. 

"you should get some sleep." Andi checked the time. Twelve forty three.

"I don't wanna." She pouted.

"your parents are gonna have a very cranky Didi Ferrari on her first day back."

"I wanna talk to you."

"cranky Didi."

"I'm not hanging up." She crossed her arms.

"okay, why don't you get some sleep and tomorrow morning, you can call me and make me cranky Dallas."

"I gotta wash all the clothes you got me."

"you can make me cranky Dallas in the morning."

Andi sighed. "you sure?"

"I'm sure."

"okay, goodnight Dallas."

"goodnight Sunshine." With that, Andi hung up. She put the rest of her presents on the floor, making a mental note that she'll open them in the morning, and went to sleep.

Andi just finished her final chemistry exam and she was now handing it to Mr. Mendoza.

"well, this is it, Mendoza. My very last exam for you. You've been my teacher for all four years of my being in high school and even when I moved to London, you still managed to be my teacher." She stated and gave him the exam. "look, I just- thank you."

"for what?" Her teacher asked.

"for putting up with me for four years straight. I'm a crazy one, huh?"

"you've really changed throughout the years." He remarked. "and in a good way."

Andi smiled. "hey, remember when I yelled at Mo for picking on Davey?" She remembered, making Mr. Mendoza laugh. "you know, me and Davey are pretty good friends now. Me and Morris... I still hate him."
