"Everything alright?" she asked and Harry simply shrugged.

"Are you having fun? Great show, by the way. You are very talented." he complimented Anna and she gave him a shy smile.

"Thanks. And now, I am going dancing and a certain someone has to join me!" she winked at Harry, who looked at her with his eyes widened in terror. She had not seen Harry dancing or singing at all all night. Other than just going around and talking to people, he was just sitting most of the time. So did Malfoy. It was easy for Anna to look at him a few times when she was on the stage performing. None could tell she was looking at him from that distance. He did not seem to enjoy himself, but at least he did nothing suspicious. Simply sitting by Pansy and Astoria and staring at Anna in numerous occasions. Anna felt butterflies in her stomach every time she would catch him looking at her, but reminded to herself, that all he wanted was to keep a close eye on his enemy and plan his next move. Anna brought herself back to present and stretched her arm to Harry, to convince him to stand up.

"No. No way. I don't dance." he refused bluntly, but Anna insisted.

"There is no chance the guy that escorts me to stay seated. Come on!"

"Seriously, I hate dancing, Anna."

"Yeah? Well...girls like dancing and if you want to impress a particular one tonight, you should get off that seat and at least try to have some fun." said Anna, hoping to persuade him. She was, of course referring to Ginny. She knew that would be a good motivator for Harry to dance with her.

"Impress who? I don't know what you mean..." Harry's tone went slightly higher as he said that.

"I was talking in general

"I was talking in general. If you want to impress a girl, you have to dance and have a good time first." said Anna and Harry got up hesitantly.

"Okay, fine. One song though. It was very embarrassing at the Yule Ball. I am really bad at this, just so you know." said Harry and Anna wrapped her hands around his neck. They were not very close to each other. Just enough to dance to a blues song.

"Come, I'll show you. Just swaying...see? It's not that bad." Anna giggled at Harry's mortified expression and rigid posture.

"It's terrible. I prefer flying. Or even fighting a dragon..." Harry joked, starting to relax. "Thank you for coming with me, by the way. If you hadn't I'd probably come with someone who would interrogate me about the battle in the ministry."

"I mean I can still do that if you want." said Anna before bursting into laughter when Harry's face got serious again. "Relax, I'm joking!" Harry sighed in relief and laughed with her.

At the Slytherin table, Daphne and Pansy were gossiping non-stop, while Crabbe and Goyle were devouring their third buffet meal refill. Theo was making out with a fourth year student and Astoria was silently observing people dancing. Draco supported his chin on his first, mentally regretting his decision to come to the party. He wanted to go upstairs and practice his mending spell, but it was too early and he would raise suspicion. That night was a pure torture. First of all, Pansy has been nagging him all the time about dancing with her. Also, being trapped in an environment with Muggle music, continuous gossiping and Potter showing off his new girlfriend, Anna Stone, who was undeniably a talented singer and dancer, was too much to bare. That being said, Draco was able to successfully maintain his composure, by keep repeating to himself about his mission and how close he was to a breakthrough.  That helped him stay focused and motivated. Instead of sitting there obsessing over Stone and Potter,  he started planning all the details in his head about his next move.
