The morning after it was rather challenging for Anna to focus on anything. Sleepless, confused and slightly afraid of her own Seer powers, she thought it would be best for her to have some quiet time with a friend and perhaps take productive actions who would be based on something other than her gift. Since it was Sunday, all Gryffindors had either gone to the library for studying, or relaxing with some short of fun activities around the castle. Going downstairs, Anna bumped into Hermione, who was walking out of her dormitory.

"Anna! Just the person I needed!" Hermione exclaimed as soon as she saw her. "Want to go studying? I am desperate for a study buddy for Transfiguration and the boys are...well..." her voice trailed off in disappointment. As if she had read Anna's mind, Hermione had given her the perfect escape from her visions and the motivation to start on her coursework, which she had neglected.

"Count me in! I need to work on with my essays too" Anna smiled and Hermione practically jumped from excitement. The library was almost full, but extremely quiet, with students from all Houses focused on their tasks. The two girls took a seat in the least busy corner of the room.

"How was the party last night?" asked Anna and Hermione's smile instantly dropped.

"It was...okay" Hermione winched and Anna raised her eyebrows in response, to non-verbally request for more details. "To be honest with you, Cormac McLaggen is very...flirtatious with me" she admitted and Anna pushed her lips together in understanding. She did not know Cormack personally, but she saw how he was acting during the tryouts. The guy was clearly arrogant and overconfident. Surely Hermione could do better than that.

"You don't seem to like that" Anna smirked and Hermione shrugged.

"I...uh...I mean he's okay..."

"But you like someone else" said Anna. Instantly, Hermione's eyes widened and her cheeks flushed into a deep shade of pink. She nervously played with a piece of parchment, avoiding looking at Anna. In response, she touched Hermione's arm to make her aware she would not judge her. She was certain she had feelings for Ron, but just did not know how serious these feelings were. Hermione is generally a closed off person emotionally, perhaps because she chooses to go with logic, so Anna wanted to listen to her and perhaps help her out on this.

"How do you know?"

"I have seen your reactions around Ron, Hermione" Anna explained and Hermione let a heavy sigh. "I have had my suspicions about you two for a long time now. Want to tell me more?" Hermione turned her head to face Anna.

"I know it's not a guy anyone would think I would like...I mean...I feel we are polar opposites..." she started explaining. "And yet, I had feelings about him from day one. People used to think I will end up with Harry. Harry is a very nice guy and a great friend. But he's just...not Ron. I am a person who is constantly over analysing and over calculating. Ron grounds me and reminds me that I sometimes have to take it slow and have fun. Harry tends to be as serious as I am occasionally, but Ron makes me laugh and cry and dream" Hermione's eyes teared up a bit and she smiled. Anna remained silent, listening to her.
