"Clarion! Which one do you want to read first?!" Mary asked pulling out a stack of books. "I don't know, or care. I still can't believe you talked me into doing this," Clarion responded. It was a Saturday morning in Tinkers Nook. Mary had been begging Clarion and Milori to read stories fan girls in pixie hollow made of them. They both finally agreed after months of being annoyed by her.
"Where is that lover boy of yours?"
"He is in the Winter Woods. Something came up. He will be here later."Clarion started looking through the books. There had to be at least a hundred. "By the second star. Why do fairies make these? This is ridiculous!" "Fairies like your love story. Your to biggest fan girls are Charlotte and Chloé," Mary told her snickering. "The healing fairy and winter fast flyer? They are both best friends." "Yes. Those two. They write a majority of these stories." Clarion nodded her head taking in the information. Milori walked up and exclaimed, "What did I miss!?" "Nothing yet. Clarion wanted to wait for you," Mary said towards him. Milori walked over and hugged Clarion. Milori pulled away and looked at Clarion who leaned up and kissed him. Mary rolled her eyes and made a barfing sound.
They both eyed Mary and Clarion stuck out her tongue. Clarion and Milori walked over to the desk stacked with books. "Fairies spend there time writing these?!" Milori asked confused. "That's what I said! I really don't understand this...." Clarion shook her head. "Will you hurry and pick a book already!?" Mary impatiently yelled. Clarion and Milori both scowled. "Fine! I will pick...this one!" Milori responded picking up a book with a blue cover. "What's it about?!" Clarion asked trying to grab it from his hands. "Uh-uh-uh. Don't be grabby," Milori stated. "Babe, tell me what it's on already!" Clarion exclaimed. "Ew! No pet names!" Mary barked. "It's called "Milarion Engagement." I'm assuming it's what they think will happen when we get engaged soon," Milori responded not thinking his sentence through.
Clarions face lit up, not because of what the book was about, but because of what Milori said. "Soon?" Clarion asked putting her hands on his chest and looking up at him. Even Mary thought that was cute so she didn't bother to intervene. Milori smiled sheepishly and couldn't look Clarion in the eyes. "Let's get back to reading the book," Milori changed the subject. "Yes! Lets do that!" Mary agreed. Clarion huffed and sat down on a mushroom top. Milori smiled at Mary and sat next to Clarion. "Want me to read it out loud, Mary? Or just read it by myself?" Clarion asked. "Read it alone. I do not want to read those." Clarion and Milori both began reading it.
Clarion couldn't wipe the smile off her face. Neither could Milori. Mary was watching them both smile like they were insane. "Aww!" Clarion let out. Milori lightly chuckled. "What!? What's going on!?" Mary asked flying over. "We just got engaged!" Clarion beamed. "Well, i'm not going to read it. Tell me what happened and Is it accurate?" "Well, It was 9 months after the freeze. Milori almost ruined the suprise multiple times." "That would be accurate." "He took me to some beach area and dropped to one knee." "The part of being at the beach is inaccurate, the part of me on one knee is." Clarion and Mary both smiled. "Well, what was Clarions answer!?" "I said yes of course," Clarion stated matter of factly. "Well, that's good to know for when I really propose," Milori thought.
"So, the part of MiloriProposingAt9MonthsIsAccurate but the part where he proposes at the beach is inaccurate?" Mary asked very quickly. "Yes." "I think?" They both answered at the same time. Clarion and Milori looked towards eachother. Clarion smiled and Milori was internally dying. He really needed to be quiet. "Okay, I'm going to shut up now," Milori mumbled. "No keep talking, please! I don't like surprises you know that," Clarion responded leaning into him. "I don't care if you don't like surprises. I'm trying to keep where it will happen a secret still Luv," Milori responded. Clarion pouted and was about so say something when Mary interrupted, "Enough of this talk. Clarion read...this book. It's by Chloé. It looks good."
