The Royal Life (Milarion one shots)

Chapter 9:

Clarion was in her office. She was sitting at her desk with a giant pile of paper work. She hated this part of her job. It didn't help how she hardly got a break. Suddenly Viola flew in.

"Your highness, Tinkerbell wishes to talk to you," Viola informed the queen. "Very well, I will be there in a moment. I must finish signing this document" Clarion told viola with a smile. Viola nodded and flew out.

Clarion flew into the room where Tinkerbell was waiting for her. "Tinkerbell? What may i do for you?" Clarion said raising an eyebrow. "Oh! Don't worry i didn't do anything.....I don't think...." Tinkerbell told her. Clarion let out a light laugh and responded with, "Then what may i help you with?"

"What's it like to be in love?" Tinkerbell questioned straight and simple. Clarion was taken back a bit. She didn't expect that. "Um...I'm terribly sorry that's not what I was expecting" Clarion told tinker-bell. " it's just that you're the only fairy in pixie hollow who's in love...." Tinkerbell informed the queen.

"Well....it's flitterrific thats for sure" Clarion informed the tinker and smiling. "I would hope so. I want to know, what's it feel like when your in love? What's it feel like when your with them?" Tinkerbell questioned. Tinkerbell new the Queen and Lords relationship was very private. They didn't ever let it get in the way of work and ruling.

"Actually....never mind....I know your and Lord Milori's relationships a secret" she told her. "Darling, the first thing you need to understand is the difference between a private relationship and a secretive one. A secret relationship no one knows the existence of," Clarion told her. Tinkerbells eyes were wide and she was grasping every word she said.

So, Clarion continued, "A private relationship every fairy knows about, they just don't know the details. If someone asked if you were married- i'm sorry, in a relationship you would say Yes. Does this make any sense?" "Yes! I'm a tinker. Things almost always make sense!" Tinkerbell said proudly.

"Love feels like....honestly this is very difficult to put into words. It feels as if everything that a fairy has ever felt melts away when you feel loved...." Clarion said puzzled. "Woah...that could be in one of Deweys books...." Tinkerbell admired. Tinkerbell looked at her wide eyed so she would continue.

"What do you feel when you are with someone you are in love with? It feels like your home, no matter where you are. You and Periwinkle for instance, could be out on another adventure but feel at home with eachother," Clarion told tinkerbell. "That's true. Is mine and Peri's love the same as yours and Lord Milori's?" Tinkerbell added onto her other questions.

"Is mine and Milori's love the same as yours and Peri's? Hm...I will come back to that question. Also, when you are with someone you love you feel safe. As if nothing can happen to either of you" Clarion told tinkerbell. "Oh....." Tinkerbell didn't know if she was in love.

"I think there are different types of loves. I love Lord Milori in a more affectionate way, i guess you could say" Clarion looked at tinkerbell who was trying not to laugh. "I'm sorry your highness. It's offly odd to hear you say you love Lord Milori" Tinkerbell apologized. "It's quite alright, have i answered your questions?" Clarion asked. "I want to know what the different types of love are" Tinkerbell answered with.

"Well aren't you curious....any particular reason?" Clarion enquired. Tink shook her head no. "Ok then, sisters have a special bond. You won't ever not love them no matter what they do to you. In a relationship you can stop loving someone. If they hurt you over and over you might never love them again" Clarion told her. "Queen Clarion? Do you truly love Lord Milori? Do you think you will every stop loving him?" Tinkerbell asked quietly.

"Yes, after all I am married to him. And what's the point of going through all that trouble if you don't love them? As for the second one, no, i don't suppose i ever will" Clarion informed the tinker.

"Thank you, your highness. This helped me a lot! Like a tonnn! I think i'm in love. I'm not completely sure though....Well i will find that out the hard way" Tinkerbell smiled and looked at the queen. "Glad i could be of service," Clarion thanked.

Tinkerbell flew out and ran to find her friends. She was going to tell them everything. And go meet terrance after.

Clarion flew back to her office and laid down on the couch. "Ugh, i'm going to burn that paperwork!" she told to herself. "Now Ree, that's quite the drastic measure," Milori input and he walked over to her. "Hi dear, i don't feel it's drastic at all," Clarion said. "Hello luv," he kissed her forehead and walked over to her paperwork.

"Bloody hell....do you just never do this?!" He questioned. "I do it all the time! It still gets like this!" She informed him as she walked over towards him. "Well, i will help" he told her as he got out a pen and started signing paperwork.

"Seriously? You can forge my signature on a few papers every once in a while, but an entire stack?" she questioned. "You can take half and i will take half" he informed her as he sat in her chair signed papers.

"Well isn't this a romantic evening!" Clarion joked. "Oh it truly is!" Milori responded sarcastically. She walked over and sat on his lap, got a pen and signed papers.
